A latest report indicates that the Nokia Lumia 625 has received its certification from China. The report also gave out details about the technical specifications and the possible release date of the device.
The report came from China on Wednesday, and also said that the device would have 512MB of RAM. No other details were disclosed, so we still don’t know the exact hardware configuration that will be present on the Lumia 625.
After the unveiling of the Nokia Lumia 1020, the company seems to be making plans for the Nokia Lumia 625. Although the name itself confirms that the Nokia Lumia 625 will not be a groundbreaking device, it will most certainly be something that mid-segment Windows Phone 8 consumers will look forward to.
As far as the rumors were concerned, the Nokia Lumia 625 was expected to be a part of Nokia’s event that took place on May 14th. Instead of May, the Lumia 625 might finally make an appearance in July and will be available in various countries. The smartphone will be priced somewhere between USD $300 to $350 and is expected to be launched in the weeks to come.
The Nokia Lumia 625 is expected to have a 4.5-4.7 inch display with 720p resolution. The device will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor, standard graphics and will have 512MB of RAM. A 2000mAh battery will keep the lights on and 4G LTE connectivity will ensure that you get to use the fastest network available.
Another added advantage is that the Nokia Lumia 625 will have the GDR2 update pre-installed. Hence the device will be able to monitor data usage with the new Data Sense feature and consumers will also be able to enjoy FM Radio functionality right on their handsets.
