Apple fans are thrilled with all the leaks and rumours revolving around the next Apple flagship iPhone 14. Even the wait for the iPhone 14 launch seems to be worth it, simply because there is so much excitement being spread by these reports about the fancy new tech that the new iPhone will pack in itself. Some major upgrades have been suggested by these leaks for iPhone 14, some are outlandish, others still believable. Whatever the case may be, the flagship iPhone 14 is expected to be a game-changer phone and surprise everyone. Well, in a big surprise, it seems that Apple has jumped on the leak bandwagon and itself leaked secret information about major upgrades to iPhones and iPads accidentally! Yes, this leak comes directly from the iPhone-maker, a report by 9to5Mac suggests. It is all about a new 35W dual USB-C Port Power Adapter.
Spotted by 9to5Mac, Apple has accidentally leaked a support document revealing that the company might be working on a new 35W dual USB-C Port Power Adapter. The document was removed quickly after its appearance on the website. Though, it’s unclear if Apple will release this fast 35W charger or not, but the leaked information by Apple clearly suggests that Apple’s 35W dual USB-C charger does exist.
“Use the Apple 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter and a USB-C cable (not included) to charge your device. Connect a USB-C cable to either port on the power adapter, extend the electrical prongs (if necessary), then plug the power adapter firmly into the power outlet. Ensure the power outlet is easily accessible for disconnecting. Connect the other end of the cable to your device,” 9to5Mac shared the leaked information by Apple.
If the leak comes true, Apple’s first dual USB-C charger would change the way you charge your iPhones, or even iPad or Apple Watch. The 35W charger would be enough to charge multiple iPhones along with another iPhone, or may be your Apple Watch.
In his report, Forbes Senior Contributor, Gordon Kelly wrote this about the impact on the upcoming iPhone 14, “Needless to say, faster charging wouldn’t be enough on its own — especially in conjunction with the iPhone 14’s underwhelming design, split performance and increased prices. But for iPhone 14 Pro buyers it might just tip the balance, along with their supersized new cameras.”
Adding to the launch of the new Apple charger, the famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared that “Predicted last month that a new charger of about 30W would come in 2022. Components are nearing mass production, and this year’s shipment estimation could reach 2-3M units.”
Of course, whether a new Apple dual USB-C charger will make its way to the market, or not, can’t be confirmed without hearing from Apple itself.
