Developers, save the date and mark your calendar. Samsung has just announced that the company’s first annual developers conference called Samsung Devcon, will be held from October 27-29, 2013 at Union Square San Francisco, CA.
Specifically the conference is dedicated to developers only, following the footsteps of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference. The Korean manufacturer said that it would be all about its new tools and SDKs. While a Samsung spokesperson has added that the event will be a “cross-product, cross-platform” event.
For now, registration is not open yet, and meanwhile developers can submit their email addresses to get more information about as it approaches. At the time, nothing shines on the site except the description that reads.

In theories, the initiative is the answer to Apple’s WWDC organized every year in June in San Francisco. The last developers Cupertino conference was an opportunity to unveil iOS 7, Mac OSX 10.9, and the new Mac Pro.
