According to a recent buzz from China, Apple has plans to come up with multiple variants of the budget friendly iPhone Lite. Reportedly there will be two versions code-named iPhone Zenvo and iPhone Zagato/Bertone.
Consumers waiting for a low priced iPhone might eventually end up buying an iPhone Zenvo or the iPhone Zagato/Bertone. Although these are just codenames, both these devices are expected to be on similar grounds to the Apple iPhone 5. A leaked document claims that they will both have a 4-inch display and will be available in multiple colors similar to the latest generation of Apple iPod Touch devices.
iPhone Zenvo is expected to have a dual-core H5P processor from Samsung, 1GB of RAM and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity whereas iPhone Zagato/Bertone will have an unidentified H6P processor and support for TDD-LTE. It is safe to assume that the latter one will be more powerful and expensive of the two. However both look similar to the iPhone 5 as far as design is concerned, but with a less powerful hardware configuration on the inside.
There have been numerous reports citing different color options that will be available for these devices. Although a majority of them, including the recently leaked image point out to five colors namely Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and White. Apart from colors, there have been clashes for the official name. Earlier it was the iPhone 5S, but now the battle has come down to iPhone Lite and iPhone Mini.
Even though these two variants might sound to be interesting, this could just be one of the many reports and rumors about the budget iPhone models. Till the time there’s no official announcement from Apple, it’s better to take this news with a grain of salt.
