But, the release of the new Apple iPhone also impacts the larger iPhone markets as some iPhones get discontinued, while the price of other iPhones are dropped. The iPhone 12 is expected to be discontinued after the launch of the iPhone 15 as Apple never keeps iPhones in its stores that are older than three years.

The other models that are expecting certain discontinuation are iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, as Apple is discontinue these versions from all previous iPhones. Tech experts are suggesting that iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 14 Plus may also get discontinued or at least a sharp reduction in their prices is expected.
The reasons for the discontinuation can be the 6.7-inch display of the iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which can counterproductive in the sale of new iPhone model.
