A reputed UK based retailer has indicated that the Google Nexus 7 2 will be available in the UK starting from August 29. This means that the tablet will arrive two weeks ahead of its original release date. Google Nexus 7 2 prices will start from £199.99 and increase as per storage space and connectivity options.

UK retailer eBuyer informed an enquiring customer that the Google Nexus 7 2 will be available from the August 29. “We are expecting them in on the 29th of August so we should start shipping them from then,” tweeted eBuyer. On the other hand, even PC World has listed the Nexus 7 2 on its site with a shipping date of September 13, and priced 16GB Wi-Fi only model for £199.99 and 32GB version for £239.99.

Even though retailers like eBuyer and PC World have started talking about the Nexus 7 2 release date in UK, we haven’t heard anything from Google so far, and the tablet is not even available on the Play store yet. Consumers planning to buy the tablet from this main source might have to wait for some more time, and we will keep you posted with updates.

The Google Nexus 7 2 is the next-gen Android tablet offered by Google, and once again manufactured by Asus. The tablet was officially announced at an event in San Francisco, and is expected to go on sale by the end of this month. The Nexus 7 2 sports a 7-inch full HD display with a 1080p resolution and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean right out of the box.

The tablet is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, Adreno 320 GPU and has 2GB of RAM. It is equipped with a 5MP rear camera and a 1.2MP front facing camera; hence you can expect camera performance as good as the Apple iPad Mini. The Nexus 7 2 brings all the goodness of Android 4.3 and is backed up by a non-removable Li-Ion 3950mAh battery.
