Elon to host free summer concert for community in Alumni Gym – Today at Elon

The summer picnic has been moved indoor to Alumni Gym due to inclement weather on Thursday.
2023 Summer Concert and Picnic graphicElon University is hosting a Summer Concert and Picnic for the community on Thursday, June 22, from noon to 2 p.m. in Alumni Gym due to the forecast calling for rain. The concert will feature Keenan McKenzie & the Riffers, an ensemble band specializing in original music and tight arrangements from the 1930s and 1940s.
This event is open to the community. Free food and beverages will be available for all guests in attendance. If you plan to attend, please submit your RSVP by Friday, June 16.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food, lawn chairs and blankets to sit if preferred. All faculty and staff are encouraged to park in their usual parking areas. Parking will be available at the Oaks Apartments and the Koury Athletics lots on Williamson for off-campus guests.
