Apple iPhone 5C sporting a shell made of polycarbonate will cost 3,000 Chinese Yuan, about $490 that's release date due in the autumn.
Here comes another rumor about Apple iPhone 5C. As reported by Phone Arena based on some Chinese sources, the price of the device will be much higher than originally assumed. In the meantime, few high-resolution photographs of the device have surfaced online again.
According to Eastern reports, the new iPhone 5C sporting a shell made of polycarbonate will cost 3,000 Chinese Yuan, about $490 that is not a mid-range price and not so much lesser than iPhone 5, which flaunts a stylish and precious anodized aluminum shell that obviously will not be included in iPhone 5C.
How reliable this rumor is we do not know because the sources are yet to be formalized. Also, it seems a high price for a device made of plastic. If, it all comes true then certainly iPhone 5C is not a low-cost smartphone in the strict sense that it was assumed, and Apple aims the device to the mid-section rather than modest consumers.
Meanwhile, the device has appeared again on the Web. A new photo gallery dedicated to iPhone 5C has been published by Phone Arena that is not so unusual because it comes from the video circulated on the Web in recent weeks. Although, some high-resolution photos has also surfaced that allow to analyze the shell in detail.
As, we can see in the photo that colored polycarbonate exterior adds a metal grid for housing the internal circuits with a structure for the screws similar to the iPhone 5.
The Cupertino Calif.-based company has reportedly plans to launch iPhone 5C in the autumn. Moreover, there is no new information on the technical features and specs so that the rumors remain valid until today. The budget iPhone is expected to sport a 4-inch Retina display, an A5 processor, 1GB of RAM and an 8 megapixel rear camera with single LED flash.
