It has been over a month since Blackberry announced its new range of smartphones at the Blackberry 10 event. This event was held in the month of January where Blackberry showcased the Blackberry Z10 and the Blackberry Q10 which run on the new Blackberry 10 operating system developed by the company.
In spite of all the work done prior to the event and even after the Blackberry 10 event, Blackberry has not jumped to business. The Blackberry Z10 has been getting a lot of attention from all over, but the device still does not seem to be out in every market.
There is still no official update about when the BlackBerry Z10 will launch in the United States. However, there have been claims about one carrier planning to launch the Blackberry Z10 in the country very soon. This particular carrier happens to be AT&T. According to two sources, AT&T will start selling the phone on March 22nd, but BlackBerry has not commented on the rumor.
Apart from AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile are also set to offer the Blackberry Z10 some time soon, but it seems Sprint will only be offering the Blackberry Q10 not the Z10. There are no details available about the price at which AT&T will offer the Z10, but Verizon has already said that the carrier will sell the Blackberry Z10 for $199.99 with a new contract.
If you are planning to buy the Blackberry Z10 once it launches, then let me tell you that it is really a good smartphone. Not that I am trying to promote Blackberry but because the Z10 is actually a very promising device. It has a lot of new features to offer and most importantly you will get to use the new and proprietary Blackberry 10 operating system.
