Asus is preparing to announce a new PadFone Infinity, in Taiwanese stores by the end of September while other markets will follow suit in the coming weeks.
PadFone Infinity, the second-generation of device won’t be too different from the current one, as purported by the photos have just appeared online.
The new Padfone Infinity would be compatible with the tablet dock of the current model, having the same 5-inch Full HD IPS+ display with 441 pixels per inch, and a rear camera with 13-megapixel sensor with a body made of silver-colored aluminum, measuring a same size as the current PadFone. However, the new device would complement a slot for microSD cards, aimed to expand the internal memory.
In addition to expandable storage, the main innovation concerns a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or a Snapdragon 600 SoC. Hence, PadFone 2 would be faster and powerful.
