The FCC has just passed a new device, and according to various sources, which would be nothing less than the Google Nexus 5 produced by LG. Recently, the same also spotted in the Android 4.4 KitKat video uploaded by Google itself.
After examining the documents, Engadget has published possible technical specifications of the device. As per the docs, Nexus 5 will have a 4.96 inches display and a size of 131.9 mm in height and 88.2 mm in width. The thickness is not known, but the device would be equipped with Snapdragon 800 system-on-chip running the newest version of Android operating system. Moreover, in addition to a 2300 mAh battery, the phone will feature all popular connectivity options, including support for NFC, HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE.
The doc also mentions the model number LG-D820, so it’s easy to assume the Nexus 5 is in production at LG, which made the predecessor Nexus 4, one of the best Android smartphones of last year, recently undergone a price reduction offer.
However, Google hasn’t provided any confirmation of the effective operations of the device thus far, but earlier this week, the Mountain View giant gave out the presence of new smartphone. The video was quickly removed from YouTube, but we have a snapshot (see above) of the device.
