Sony Xperia J users can now rejoice as they will now be able to use the latest Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean on their devices. The latest version of Android operating system – Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean is being rolled out for the Sony Xperia J.
The 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update will update the firmware of this entry level handset to the version number 11.2.A.2.21. The kernel has been updated to 3.4 similar to the other Sony Xperia JB updates. This new update will definitely rejoice all Xperia J users as they will now be able to use the latest version of Android operating system on their devices.
The Sony Xperia J happens to be the third Xperia smartphone from the Sony Xperia range of smartphones from the year 2012 to get this Jelly Bean update. Previously, the Sony Xperia T/TL (LT30p, LT30at, LT30a) and the Sony Xperia V (LT25i) have also received the Jelly bean update. The list is still not complete as there are a lot of other smartphones in the Sony Xperia series who still have to receive the Jelly Bean update. The Sony Xperia TX (LT29i) is expected to receive the Jelly Bean update in a couple of weeks which will then be followed by the remaining handsets one after another.
The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system is one of the most popular and widely used mobile operating systems in the world.
