Apple will be launching the new iPhones, namely iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C in Cupertino, California later today. Meanwhile, a rumor has claimed that iPhone 5C will be exclusive for China and other modest markets only.
No secret! Apple is holding a special event in Cupertino, California today to release the most awaited new iPhone models, iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. The Cupertino will also hold an event in Beijing tomorrow without much doubt of iPhone 5C that will be exclusive for emerging markets.
According to close sources of PC-Tablet, Apple has no plans to launch the mid-segment iPhone 5C in the United States and other major markets, and the people who are familiar with this matter, are defining ‘C’ as “China.”
An Apple strategist said, “Apple’s motto of releasing a budget version of iPhone is to make people more aware of Apple products in developing countries and new emerging markets. And to make Apple’s technology affordable so that more and more people from all around the world will be benefited.”
“Apple iPhone 5C will not release in premium iPhone markets such as US, UK, Japan, and Australia. These countries will only receive the next flagship version of iPhone,” he added.
In Beijing, the Cupertino group will address an extraordinary keynote for a specific region in the history of the brand and away from native California. The reasons are quite understandable; China is the homeland of the low cost devices, where the iPhone hasn’t reached sufficient numbers of market share due to the presence of numerous local producers and the company needs to hit its target at best.
Indeed Apple iPhone 5C will be an ideal candidate to win mid-segment markets with the lower price somewhere between $350 and $450, and attractive colors. However, it’s just not enough to beat the competition, because the device reportedly lacks 4G LTE connectivity and comes with 8GB and 16GB of storage without expansion slot.
This is a hypothesis rather than legitimate confirmation, while many Western consumers would also have been waiting to get their hands on the “economic” model. On the other hand, after months of relentless leaks, the expectation of customers are high, and now it’s up to Apple who will be raising the curtain today.
