Recently LG had announced the new Optimus L Series II family of smartphones. In the month of February, the company first announced the 4.3-inch L7II in Russia. Then it was the 4.0-inch L5II which was launched in Brazil. These L Series II smartphones have been on an international release which include Asia, Europe, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.
This new L Series II is the next in the series after the company’s mid-range L Series which have sold more than 15 million units and also the high end smartphones like the LG Optimus G and LG Optimus G Pro. The L Series II consists of a variety of smartphones the L7II, L5II and L3II. All these devices have a very similar configuration. These smartphones are available in single and dual SIM options and run on the latest Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update. The devices are powered by a 1 GHz single core processor, 4 GB of storage space, 512 MB of RAM, and a 5 MP Primary Camera. These smartphones are available in Indigo Black, White, Pink and Titan color options.
These smartphones have all the usual software that is included by LG. These devices have QSlide, QuickTranslator and QuickMemo as a part of the standard software package. The devices also have Quick Button, which allows the user to customize a hotkey in order to quickly launch any app on the device.
According to Dr. Jong-seok Park, the president and CEO of LG Mobile, this new smartphone is “another great option among devices in the premium 3G market.” LG has also stated that this new device “will be initially available in Brazil followed by single and dual SIM models in South and Central America, Europe, Asia, Russia, the Middle East and Africa.”
