Amazon slashes prices on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 right before Christmas 2013.
Amazon is offering some big price slashing right before Christmas, so if you thought you missed the big deals during the busiest shopping day of the year, think again.
Checking out for tablet deals on the retailer’s website, consumers can easily track down a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2012 Edition deal. The 16 GB variant of the device now sells for just $399.99 down from $499.99 or clear savings of over $100. Amazon has the Deep Grey and White versions in stock as of writing. The 32 GB variant of the 2012 version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 now sells for $449.99 down from $549.99, offering the same direct savings for consumers.
You can also grab a leather case for the tablet for around $20 and screen protector for just $10 also on Amazon.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition sells for $599.99 for a 32GB variant while the 16GB variant goes for $549.99.
While it’s understandable that the 2014 version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 offers newer features and better specs, the older brother isn’t left far behind. The 2012 Galaxy Note 10.1 is still a very capable device dependent on an Exynos 4412 1.4GHz Cortex quad-core processor working with 2GB of RAM.
The older Galaxy Note 10.1 has a 5MP main camera and a 1.9 front-facing one that can be used for selfies or video chats. In terms of its screen, it sports a PLS TFT display with a resolution of 800×1200 with a pixel density of 149ppi.
The 2014 edition of the tablet has a redesigned body that features some physical buttons on the bezel. It also comes with an upgraded CPU and a much better display. Still, $100 is great savings especially for those who might not maximize the computing power of the new version.
