The Apple iPhone 5S is one of the hottest topics on the internet. Almost every rumor about the iPhone 5S indicates that the device will soon make it into the market and more importantly indicates that the iPhone 5‘S’ might not just be standard upgrade over the iPhone 5.

Recent reports from trusted sources like Macotakara and China Times have given out some more important information about the iPhone 5S and features that this device might have. Sources claim that the iPhone 5S might have a fingerprint scanner and NFC technology built into the device. The fingerprint sensor will be used for security on the device and also to improve the security of important NFC applications such as payments.

According to China Times, a chip making firm in Taiwan named Chipbond will be providing these components for the Apple iPhone 5S. The source also said that the new technology for these features will be made by a mobile security firm named AuthenTec which has been recently acquired by Apple.

Ever since the time Apple has acquired AuthenTec in the year 2012, the rumors about Apple planning to provide a fingerprint sensor on its new iPhone device have started. AuthenTec is the same firm which has worked with Microsoft in the past to integrate software support for biometrics in Windows desktop computers.

So if AuthenTec is going to be a part of the new iPhone 5S team, then we assume that the company has already finished the fingerprint sensor that we will be equipped on the iPhone 5S. This is because Foxconn has reported that the manufacturing plant has already started production on the iPhone 5S and is now also in the process of starting a full scale high speed manufacturing cycle.

This information was provided by Macotakara and the details have been quite precise and correct.
Trusted source Macotakara also said that Japan’s leading carrier company NTT DoCoMo may start offering the iPhone to its consumers once the iPhone 5S is released in the market.

This soon to come iPhone 5S definitely has to be a smart and powerful device because there are a lot of competitors already waiting to go head to head against this next big thing from Apple.
