Unfortunately, other details are extremely thin at the moment though we do have a pointer of what to expect on the performance front with the new OnePlus 3. With a specific model of the said smartphone already having made it to the AnTuTu, that serves to provide us with some specification hints such as Snapdragon 820 chipset.
That apart, a 4 GB of RAM along with 32 GB of storage is also being speculated to make up the inside of new OnePlus 3. Further, there is going to be a 5.5-inch display upfront, lit up by 1920 x 1080 pixels. OnePlus 3 is also expected to pack in a 16-megapixel rear shooter as well while an 8-megapixel unit at the front which should allow for better quality selfie shots.
What can also be considered to be almost a certainty is that the OnePlus 3 will be running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow right out of the box, as is likely to be standard with all Android smartphone launching in 2016, at least with the flagship range.

Integration of the new USB Type-C port too shouldn’t be out of place either given the twin benefits of quick charging and faster data transfer rates that it allows for compared to the more conventional micro-USB port.
So far as the design of the OnePlus 3 is concerned, the best we have here is a conceptual render that was released in December 2015. If those are to be believed, then the OnePlus 3 is expected to come with a brushed metal finish at the rear in place of the usual sandstone finish that has been standard with OnePlus devices so far.

Further, the design also does not include any dedicated home/fingerprint scanner at the front, which has led to speculation if the new OnePlus 3 will pack in an iris scanner or an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner sitting below the front display. The renders, however, did clearly show front facing speakers placed right below the display.
