The much-anticipated OnePlus 3 should be here anytime soon, going by the pace that the smartphone is trending in tech circles around the world.
However, while that is good news for ardent followers of the Chinese firm – and which already stands at a sizeable figure for the young company – what is disappointing is that there isn’t a fixed launch window that the company sticks to while launching a flagship phone. OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 were launched in April 2014 and July 2015 respectively. Although this time, OnePlus 3 might get to see the light of the day on 14th June 2016. There is no way we can zoom in any further to a specific date at the moment. However, the good thing is that it isn’t too far either.
Coming to likely specs, again there are only speculations that we can bank on at the moment. The only bright spot is that those have been contributed by none other than Evan Blass (@evleaks). As such, one can expect OnePlus 3 to feature a 5-inch, 1080p AMOLED display along with the 3,000mAh battery. Both make for a nice combination, considering the energy saving attributes of the AMOLED display technology coupled with a large battery for good battery backup.
Other tech bits that might be associated with OnePlus 3 include a Snapdragon 820 chip along with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage options as well as 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM respectively.

As pricing is concerned, OnePlus 3 is expected to carry forward the principles that have served to be the bedrock over which the company owes its very existence – making available flagship beating stuff at the lowest possible price point.

The OnePlus 2 retailed for around $330, and its successor shouldn’t be expected to deviate from the price range by too wide a margin.
Talking about the availability, the Chinese firm is working to make the process of buying a OnePlus 3 a more hassle free. The company has already stated that the upcoming handset will be sold in major worldwide markets including the US and will be shipped free even though handsets will be sold directly from the official company site. The phone will also be sold unlocked while there will be wider payment options including credit card payments as well.

Procuring OnePlus mobiles had been particularly tough all this while, and it’s really nice to see the company working on it.
That’s almost all of the important stuff that is known so far about the upcoming OnePlus handset. However, the rumor streams are only expected to reach a fervent pace as we approach the actual launch.
