If you apply to register a work containing more than a minimal amount of AI-generated material, the Copyright Office says you must disclose that material and describe the human author’s contribution. How Your Suno Plan Affects Use
Suno’s supplied information distinguishes its free and paid access. A Practical Workflow For A Track You May Release
For an ownership-sensitive project, treat the generated recording and your own creative work as separate parts of a production. Suno describes its workspace as capable of generating complete songs with vocals, lyrics, instrumentation and production, and supporting editing and section replacement. You can use those functions as part of a process, but the existence of an edit does not by itself establish that the resulting track—or a particular edit—is copyrightable.
