About

Beckon Access is a cloud-managed access-control system that uses smartphones, cloud management, and Beckon IoT hardware for gyms, golf clubs, gated communities, and businesses. Users can open nearby doors and gates with one tap in real time. Operators can onboard users through online forms and email or SMS activation links, and provide temporary accounts, external partner access, and day passes without requiring the app. Hardware supports WiFi and 4G/LTE, with a SIM included for LTE devices. The devices are designed to operate online or offline independently of local infrastructure, with automatic fault detection, failsafe mode, heartbeat monitoring, and over-the-air updates. Operators can send push notifications, emails, SMS, and newsletters, and optionally require confirmation before zone entry. The platform also manages subscriptions, scheduled activation and deactivation, SEPA direct debit, and returned payments. Integrations include a REST management API with real-time webhooks and a Magicline connector. Setup, training, and ongoing support are included; installation is coordinated with a local electrician or locksmith.
