About
Cover Letter Tailor is a web tool that creates a writing guide and a job-specific cover letter from a resume and job description. Users can paste a resume or upload a PDF or .docx file, then paste the job description. The guide uses both inputs to shape the opening, middle, employer needs, and close. Tone choices are Automatic, Direct & confident, Warm & enthusiastic, and Understated. Generated text can be copied, while paid options add .docx downloads. The free tier allows two letters per day without an account. The Unlimited plan costs 7.00 USD per month and includes unlimited letters and .docx downloads; a separate Credits option costs 9.00 USD per once for 10 generations, with credits that do not expire. The site says generation usually takes under 15 seconds and streams output as it is created. Resume and job-description text is sent to Anthropic for generation, then discarded without storage or use for model training.
