About
Findmykids is a parental-control app for tracking children’s locations and monitoring selected aspects of phone use. GPS updates arrive every few seconds, with routes, location history, and alerts about places a child visits. Parents can receive an SOS signal even when their own phone is silent, while Loud Signal can alert a child through a smartphone set to silent. App-use reports show which apps were used and for how long, with overtime notifications. Sound Around lets a parent hear a child’s surroundings, and the child’s device displays a notification when listening begins; the feature is unavailable for children using iPhones and when either person is in Germany or Austria. A child can connect through the Pingo app or a GPS watch, and the company also describes web location tracking. Findmykids says its app can run on Apple Watch without a connected phone. The service has a free plan and paid plans from €3.58/mo (annual). The company says it does not store sound, usage statistics, fitness data, or activity recognition data on its servers, and offers 24/7 live chat support.
