About

Freezetime is a Counter-Strike 2 demo analysis platform that can run as a public archive, in a browser, or self-hosted. Its public archive contains more than 2,600 searchable professional matches, grouped by series, and requires neither installation nor an account. For your own demo, the Analyze page uses WebAssembly to parse one file in the browser without it leaving your machine. Parsed demos yield 16 Hz player positions, kills, grenade data and economy, with hundreds of features prepared in database tables. Synchronized 2D replays show health, economy, kill feed, grenade trajectories, smoke and flash effects. Analysis tools include opponent reports, predictions, ML Lab, leaderboards, match comparison, heatmaps, ghost rounds, Moments and Pattern Finder. My DB handles private demos without the server keeping a copy. Self-hosting requires supplying your own demos; the repository includes the engine but no match data or database dumps. The project says its smart features rely on deterministic methods and locally trained models, not external AI services. It is MIT licensed, without warranty.

Who it is for

It suits Counter-Strike 2 players, analysts and teams who want to inspect demos, compare matches or build a self-hosted analysis setup. Browser-based parsing and the public archive also suit users who do not want to install the platform or upload their own demo.

What is good

  • Public archive has over 2,600 searchable professional matches.
  • Analyze parses demos in-browser using WebAssembly.
  • Synchronized replays include health, economy and grenade effects.
  • MIT licensed for use, modification and sharing.

What to know first

  • Self-hosting requires supplying your own demos.
  • Several analysis features are self-host only on the public site.
  • MIT license provides no warranty.

Verdict

Freezetime combines a no-install public archive with browser parsing for private demos and a deeper self-hosted studio. Teams choosing self-hosting need to bring their own match data and database setup.
