At CES 2016, companies unveiled a few new phones, and the first handsets of the year have already been launched. Among the first phones off the rostrum is the Lenovo Lemon 3, which has just been announced. This is a response to the Redmi 3, which Xiaomi recently revealed, and in many respects, it is a comparable model.
The Lenovo Lemon 3 is essentially a budget phone with relatively basic specifications. For starters, it’s running on Android 5.1. That is not the latest Android OS as Marshmallow rolled out last year.
The storage specs for the Lemon 3 amount to 16 GB of internal storage. Note that the mobile does include a microSD slot so that you can expand the storage. In addition, it also comes with 2 GB of RAM.
It includes a Snapdragon 616 chipset, which is the same as the Redmi 3. That CPU has a clock speed amounting to 1.5 Ghz. The phone also includes an Adreno 405 GPU.

The Lenovo Lemon 3 has a slightly better display than Redmi 3. It boasts a 5-inch display with a full HD resolution that amounts to 1,920 x 1,080.
This handset has a couple of cameras at the front and rear. The rear camera has a 13-megapixel resolution for snapshots. The front includes a 5-megapixel camera for photography.

As a budget handset, it offers little in the way of novelties. The closest thing to a novelty on this phone is perhaps its dual SIM card slots. Consequently, those enable you to use the phone with two networks. Another advantage of the dual slots is that you can keep two alternative contact lists with them.
The Lenovo Lemon 3 is retailing in China at 699 Yuan. That amounts to about $106. As of yet, Lenovo has not provided any details for the international launch of Lemon 3.

So the Lenovo Lemon 3 might be a great budget handset for 2016. It’s not a ground-breaking phone by any means, but it offers decent value. Below is a list of the phone’s specifications.
