3 tips for an easy round-the-world itinerary
Travelling around the world is a dream for many people, but it is difficult for tourists to put together a round-the-world itinerary. Planning a trip can be complex, and some people prefer to take a walk on the beach or a boat trip. It is more convenient when one can avoid working out an itinerary, choosing a hotel, checking the level of security, selecting transport and other important travel details. All this obviously comes at a considerable cost, which some travellers do not wish to pay. For this reason, they choose to organise their trips themselves. So, when planning a round-the-world itinerary, you need to take certain steps to make the task less daunting.
Identify the places to be discovered and the tasks to be performed
The idea is to make a list of the places you want to see, find a source of inspiration and admire the result.
List of places to visit
Choosing these places is quite tricky, but it helps you to be prepared. The first step is to look for inspiration. You need to make a clear list of the places you want to explore, the activities you will do, the culinary experiences and many other things you need. Don’t have any reservations in this clearing phase. Feel free to include in your list places you have already visited to relive the experience and to add other places you do not know.

If you are a fan of historical places, you can browse travel blogs to see which countries have historical monuments. Alternatively, you can read books for more inspiration. You can also go to travel websites and look at reviews left by other visitors, you will certainly find some clues.

Plan a quick route
To plan an itinerary quickly, you need to estimate the number of days you will spend in each country and the places you will visit. Note that the estimate takes into account the distance to travel, things to do and see, and the cost of living in each country. If you have children, think about the pace at which you will have to live.

If you want a short itinerary, you may want to group the countries according to the best times of the year and the expected travel time.

Mini planning to review the order of countries
Moving from one country to another in a limited time is a challenge for the traveller. You may face different constraints in planning your passage from one country to another.
Regarding the means of transport, it is possible to travel from one country to another by car, boat or bus. This applies more to border countries and smaller countries. If you are travelling with your family, it is advisable to rent a car, as this will save you money. This way you will be more flexible and better organised in your schedule, and you will be able to deal with unforeseen events easily. You should also check the customer reviews of car rental companies, as you may be charged for no reason. Beware of fake reviews, as it is possible in some countries to buy Google reviews, which reduces the reliability of the sites.
