Intex Aqua Power 4G with Android 6.0 Marshmallow launched

Intex Technologies has added yet another budget smartphone to its Aqua lineup – Intex Aqua Power 4G. The phone is priced at INR 6,399 ($96 USD) and available across online as well as offline retailers in domestic market. Intex Aqua Power 4G smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box.

It sports 5.0″IPS display with 1280 x 720p HD resolution alongside 267 ppi pixel density. The smartphone comes featuring a screen-to-body ratio of 67%. As the name suggests, Intex Aqua Power 4G is a dual SIM phone that supports 4G connectivity.

Intex Aqua Power 4G comes powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor with a MediaTek MT6735P chipset along with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. The default storage capacity is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD.

The phone packs inside a 3800mAh battery which is said to be capable of delivering a whopping 200 hours of standby time as well as 18 hours talk time. The Aqua Power 4G has 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash at the rear along with 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

“Aqua Power 4G offers seamless connectivity backed with a powerful processor. The large screen and the latest Marshmallow OS will provide consumers an engaging smartphone experience,” this is what Intex Technologies’ Keshav Bansal had to say.

The device reportedly pushes built-in apps such as Clean Master, Opera Mini, Intex services, Matrabhasha, and Saavn, and is available in champ golden and deep blue color variants.

In the other news, Intex Technologies’ mobile business head, Sanjay Kalirona recently filed a resignation to the company due to reasons that are not known as of now.
