Lenovo Vibe K5 Note released in India, price starts at INR 11,999

Lenovo finally launched its fifth iteration of Vibe K Note Series in the Indian market, priced INR 11,999 onwards. Introduced in two RAM variants, the 3GB RAM model costs INR 11,999 whereas the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note featuring 4GB RAM costs INR 13,499. The devices are listed at online retailer Flipkart. However, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note will go on sale on August 3.

The 4G phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow software out of the box. It has 5.5″ display with 1920 x 1080px full HD resolution as well as 401 PPI pixel density. Powered by a 1.8GHz MediaTek 64-bit Octa-core MT6755 processor and Mali T860 MP2 GPU, the Lenovo Vibe K5 comes in Champagne Gold, Platinum Silver, and Graphite Grey color variants.

As mentioned earlier, the phone comes in two – 3GB and 4GB LP DDR3 RAM options. It has 32GB eMMC built-in storage that is expandable up to 1280GB via microSD extended storage support. The dual Nano SIM-supported Lenovo Vibe K5 Note packs a 3500mAh Li-ion polymer battery and supports GPRS, EDGE, HSPA+, and LTE connectivity options.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note measures 152mm x 75.7mm x 8.49mm dimensions and weighs 165g. As far as the camera offerings are concerned, it has a 13-megapixel primary camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) as well as 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

It has 1.5W speaker supporting Dolby ATMOS surround sound. The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note also deals with its own TheatreMax technology. The company also greets users with ANT VR (virtual reality) headset. In addition to all these things, the device comes with support for Bluetooth controller.

“Our K series has been a big hit with consumers over the past year, with more than 3 million users. This latest addition will bring an even richer and immersive entertainment experience to the users,” Lenovo India Executive Director (Mobile Business Group) Sudhin Mathur said during the launch event in New Delhi.
