- The new configurations will be available from October 17, with prices starting at $2,199.99.
A Deeper Dive into the Aurora R16’s Upgrades:
When Alienware first unveiled the Aurora R16 in August, it was a mid-term refresh that utilized existing Intel CPUs and a select range of NVIDIA GPUs. However, the latest announcement from Dell’s gaming division indicates a significant leap in performance capabilities for the Aurora R16.
Processor Upgrades:
The new configurations will feature the Intel Core i7-14700KF, a 16-core processor with speeds ranging from 2.5 GHz to 5.6 GHz. Additionally, the Intel Core i9-14900KF, a 24-core processor, will offer speeds from 2.4 GHz to 6 GHz. These new additions will complement the existing configurations, which include the Core i9-12900F, Core i7-13700F, and Core i9-13900F. Notably, only the 14th Gen chips will utilize the unlocked ‘K’ variants.
