Make mashcore by generating short, contrasting sections, then arranging and editing them into one fast, deliberately chaotic track. Start with an instrumental generator that can export stems or MIDI, create separate ideas for the styles you want to collide, and use a DAW for the final cuts, tempo changes, fills and transitions. AI tools can supply material, but the mashcore identity comes from your arrangement decisions.
What Mashcore Needs From An AI Workflow
Mashcore works through extreme contrast: recognizable genre fragments, abrupt switches, chopped vocal or instrumental phrases, dense drums, glitch edits and hard drops. Plan the track as blocks rather than one uninterrupted generation. A useful outline is an intro, a first style, a stop or fill, a sharply different style, a collision section and a short outro.

- Write prompts that name the musical roles you need, such as “breakbeat drums,” “bright trance lead,” “distorted hardcore bass” or “chopped vocal hook.”
- Ask for separate sections or variations so you can choose the cleanest material for each block.
- Prefer MIDI, stems or multitrack exports when available; they let you mute, rearrange and process parts independently.
- Keep a written bar map. Mashcore edits are easier when every drop, silence and restart has a deliberate location.

The directory descriptions do not establish that any of these products has a dedicated “mashcore” mode. Treat mashcore as a prompt and editing brief, and check each vendor’s current genre support before committing to a subscription.

1. Write A Two-Style Brief
Choose two or three sharply different ingredients and assign each one a job. For example: “hardcore breakbeat drums plus euphoric trance lead, with a 16-bar intro, an eight-bar tension break and a sudden double-time drop.” Add the mood, energy and arrangement length you want. Do not ask for a famous song, a living artist’s voice or an unlicensed sample.

2. Generate The Drum And Bass Foundation
Use Beat Shaper, Soundverse AI Beat Maker or InsMelo AI Beat Maker for an instrumental first pass. Generate several short ideas with different drum density and bass movement. In Beat Shaper, piano-roll controls include genre, mood, energy and syncopation; in InsMelo, the listing specifies genre, BPM, mood and structure controls. Those controls can help you steer a mashcore foundation, but the products do not promise a particular mashcore result.
3. Create The Contrasting Section
Make a second generation with a clearly different brief rather than asking the first generation to transform itself. Try a bright melodic section against a darker, distorted rhythm section, or a vocal hook against an instrumental drop. 4. Generate Or Edit Vocal Material Carefully

Keep the lyric short so it can be chopped into call-and-response fragments. If you use a voice reference, upload only audio you own or have permission to use. 5. Export Parts Instead Of One Stereo File
Choose stems or MIDI where the plan provides them. Beat Shaper lists MIDI, WAV, MP3, stem and DAW project options; Soundverse AI Beat Maker lists WAV, separated stems and MIDI; InsMelo lists MP3, WAV, MIDI and separate stems; Eleven Music, Mureka and Loudly also list stem workflows. Udio’s listing says audio, video and stem downloads are disabled during its transition period, so check its current status before building an export-dependent workflow.
6. Arrange The Mashup In Your DAW
- Set one project tempo and place the strongest drum loop on the grid.
- Cut the contrasting section into phrases that fit your bar map.
- Use hard mutes, reverse hits, short fills and silence before each style change.
- Layer only the parts that help the collision; mute competing bass or kick layers when the low end becomes crowded.
- Automate filters, distortion and volume into the drop, then leave a brief clean section so the next switch is audible.
Beat Shaper is the clearest fit when you want a DAW project or MIDI starting point. With browser-only tools or exports limited by a plan, download the permitted files and complete the arrangement in the DAW you already use.
7. Check The Mix And The Rights
Listen for clipping after every layer change, check that the kick and bass do not mask each other, and compare the loudest drop with the quieter break. Before release, read the exact plan terms for commercial use, downloads, stems and samples.
