Released officially back in May this year, Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has been made available on pre-order in the US. The company is currently accepting pre-orders to only a 16GB Wi-Fi variant of the said product, according to the official Samsung website. It has a price tag of $299 and will be shipped with no shipping cost within 7-10 days from pre-ordering.
The tablet has 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. The tablet has a dedicated microSD card slot that leads storage expandability up to 256 GB. In the camera department, it has an 8-megapixel primary autofocus camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. Interestingly enough, the camera is capable of recording 1080p full HD videos at 30 frames per second (FPS). At the front, it has a 2-megapixel selfie camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) flaunts a massive 10.1 inches PLS LCD capacitive touchscreen along with 74.9% screen-to-body ratio. The tablet comes supporting multitouch with 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution as well as 224 ppi pixel density. It packs inside a whopping 7300 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery.
The tablet is powered by Exynos 7870 chipset running Octa-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T830 MP2 GPU inside. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box.

On the connectivity front, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (2016) supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, and Bluetooth 4.2. However, it has support for only accelerometer sensor.

In addition to above offerings, Samsung has also listed few supporting accessories on sale such as 11-pin Travel Charger and 2013 Galaxy Tab USB Connection Kit, which as of writing this story, cost $29.99 and $19.99 respectively.
The development comes right after the company announced to make available the tablet in South Korea sometime later this month at $310 for Wi-Fi model. Samsung’s tablet department is as equally diversified as its smartphones department, right from cheap low-end models to high-end Galaxy Tab S2 and also Windows 2-in-1 in some cases.
