About
Assimilate Live Looks is on-set video monitoring and live grading software for production workflows from standard HD through 8K. It runs on Windows and macOS, with Windows 10 and macOS 10.15 or later listed as supported. A local webserver allows grades and looks to be reviewed in a browser on or near set, and camera feeds can be streamed to YouTube, SetStream.io, or another online platform. Grading tools include Lift, Gamma, Gain, CDL controls, curves, color remapping, texture effects, skin retouch, and chroma keying. The software records graded QuickTime snippets and Apple ProRes, with available camera metadata in clips. Looks can be matched in Assimilate SCRATCH, and CDL-EDL files transferred to DaVinci Resolve. Listed integrations cover AJA, Bluefish444, Blackmagic, and Newtek NDI equipment. The free Personal Learning Edition has no time limit but adds a watermark. Paid options include 89.00 USD per month for a recurring subscription, 595.00 USD per year for a rental, and 995.00 USD per once for a permanent license.
