About
Colourlab Ai provides real-time color grading, look design, and film emulation software for colorists, editors, filmmakers, and content creators. Its Balance feature sets exposure, white balance, and contrast to a neutral starting point, while Match with SMH adjusts shadows, midtones, and highlights separately. Styles can apply grading instructions across related shots, and users can describe a look to find ranked results from their library. Colourlab AI 4 says matching, analysis, and looks run locally on Mac rather than in the cloud. It works natively with DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer through OpenTimelineIO; the homepage also lists support for more than 40 camera brands. The maker says its metadata sits above the image file without permanently changing it. Creator costs 14.00 USD per month, and a seven-day trial is offered without requiring credit card details. A free public beta is also listed; it requires an Apple Silicon Mac, with Windows support noted as coming in October.
