CircleUs

About

CircleUs is a location-sharing app for Android and iOS for families and other invited circles. Members appear on a live map refreshed every eight seconds, while a privacy bubble lets a person share a general neighborhood area instead of an exact address. Visibility can be controlled per circle, and people must agree to join through an invite link before being added. Place alerts report when a member arrives at or leaves a chosen location. One-tap SOS can alert circle members and contact emergency services with live GPS coordinates. Drive reports cover speed, phone use, hard braking, and a score after each trip. Elder care mode can learn routines, flag unusual inactivity, monitor battery, and send check-in pings. CircleUs says location data is end-to-end encrypted, is not sold or used for advertising, and can be exported or deleted in settings. Free Forever supports up to five members, two circles, and three place alerts. Gold costs 9.00 USD per month billed annually; the plan also lists $14 monthly. Gold adds unlimited members and alerts, 30-day location history, driving and elder care tools, crash detection with 911 dispatch, and AI smart alerts and routines.

Who it is for

CircleUs suits families, teens and adults seeking location privacy, drivers, and caregivers monitoring older relatives. Its free tier fits smaller circles, while Gold is for users who need additional alerts, history, or care and driving tools.
