About
OtoZen is an Android and iOS app for family location sharing and driving safety. When sharing is enabled, family members can see a driver's live location, speed, posted speed limit, and ETA during a trip. Other features include places alerts, speeding and phone-use alerts, past drives, SOS response, and student-driver logs. The app provides trip reports and Drive Scores; weekly drive-score reports are a premium feature. OtoZen says automatic crash response can connect supported users in the USA with a trained agent who coordinates with local emergency services. Student-driver DMV logs are also available only in the USA. Users decide who can see their location and arrival time and can stop sharing or change visibility for a specific person. The company says trips, calendar events, reminders, locations, drive scores, and commute insights are stored on the mobile device rather than in the cloud. It says it does not share user data with advertisers, police, or insurance companies; its privacy policy also describes sharing with service providers, including Firebase. The Free Plan is 0.00 USD per year and limits drive history to two days and places to two. Family Plan is 49.99 USD per year; Family Plus Plan is 64.99 USD per year.
