About

RNI Films is an analogue-film photo app that simulates the look and colours of real film emulsions. It organizes filters by film type and is designed for a minimal-tap editing workflow, with an instant before-and-after preview. Its Film Grain tool applies what the maker describes as genuine film grain rather than digital noise, and the maker characterizes its rendering and output as desktop quality. Users can share photos to social networks directly from the app. The maker says an Android app is not viable at present; Android users can instead sync RNI Lightroom presets to Lightroom Mobile with an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. Presets and styles are also offered for Lightroom/ACR and Capture One, including film-stock and infrared-simulation options. The listing includes a free plan and paid offerings from 82.00 USD per month, with specific listed plans reaching 192.00 USD per month. RNI Films is listed for Android, iOS, macOS and Windows, though the maker's stated Android alternative relies on Lightroom Mobile and a subscription.

Who it is for
