Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 series is already making waves in the tech community, but not for the reasons you might expect. According to recent reports from multiple sources including Android Headlines, T3, and TechRadar, the Galaxy S24 series may disappoint users with its charging speeds.
The Numbers Speak for Themselves
The 3C certification agency revealed that the Galaxy S24 will feature a 9V/2.77A power rating, which equates to 25W fast charging. This is the same as its predecessor, the Galaxy S23. The Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra models will support 45W fast charging, also unchanged from previous models.
Why This Matters
In an era where fast charging is becoming a standard feature, Samsung seems to be lagging behind. Brands like OnePlus and Xiaomi are already offering 65W and even 120W fast charging capabilities. Samsung’s decision to stick with the same charging speeds could be a deal-breaker for many potential buyers.

The Silver Lining
On the bright side, all models in the Galaxy S24 series will support 5G. While this is a significant feature, it may not be enough to sway consumers who prioritize fast charging.
