As the school year approaches, Fitbit’s kid-friendly smartwatch, the Fitbit Ace LTE, comes at an opportune time with its latest sale. Designed to blend fun, fitness, and safety, this device caters to both children and parents looking for a smart solution to keep active and connected during school days.
Who and What
The Fitbit Ace LTE is a smartwatch specifically designed for children, offering a blend of health tracking, communication, and entertainment features. It’s tailored to be a kid’s first watch that encourages physical activity through interactive games and comes with safety features like location tracking and emergency contact options.
When and Where
This back-to-school sale makes the Fitbit Ace LTE more accessible through significant discounts available at major retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and directly from Google. The promotion includes a price reduction on the watch and a half-price offer on its yearly data plan, running until the end of August.
Why

Unique Features and User Experience
The Fitbit Ace LTE enhances the typical kids’ watch experience by integrating health and fitness games that require physical movement to progress. Games like ‘Spirit Garden’ and ‘Sproutlings’ make use of the watch’s sensors to encourage active play, turning everyday activities into fun challenges.
School Time Feature
A standout feature is the ‘School Time’ mode, which limits the watch’s functions during school hours to minimize distractions. Parents can configure this to ensure the watch remains useful as a timekeeper and for emergency communications only during lessons.
