Overview

ACH Processing Company provides ACH and card payment services through a web portal and API, with tools for payment scheduling, reporting, and administration. Its strongest fit is organizations handling business or public-sector payments that need both portal workflows and integration options. The trade-off is custom pricing: teams must request a demo and pricing before they can judge cost against their requirements.

Incorporated in 1998, the company launched its proprietary platform in 2012. It serves corporate clients and municipalities, with use cases spanning accounts receivable and state or federal payments.

Key features

The ACH Web Portal handles one-time and recurring payments alongside transaction reporting and administrative work. Quick Debit covers individual transactions, while the Recurring Schedule Manager lets users set custom payment schedules. That combination is useful for teams managing repeat billing and occasional debits in the same portal; teams seeking a clearly priced self-serve product will have to look elsewhere.

Reporting has meaningful range: Report Builder offers more than 28 values for configuring reports, and Report Viewer provides templates for settled transactions, file-upload summaries, and unsuccessful transactions. Administrators can assign user rights, require a second user to approve transactions, and enable email alerts for selected events. These controls suit organizations that need oversight across staff and transaction workflows.

The API supports batch transaction creation, transaction searches, and retrieval of returned transactions with return codes. Developers can validate information in sandbox environments that the company says mirror production. The API’s stated capabilities cover important transaction operations, though they do not establish a broader feature set beyond those functions.

Accounting integrations cover AP and AR with Sage 100 Standard, Xero, and QuickBooks. The Pay Now Link accepts ACH and credit card payments on a website, with some customizable payment-page options. The company also offers credit card processing and resells gateways or virtual terminals including NETePay, Bridge Pay, PayPal Payflow, Authorize.net, Shift4, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Payeezy, WorldNet, Everest, and CardPointe.

ACH Processing Company says it maintains technical, administrative, and physical safeguards and SSAE18 SOC1, SOC2, and SOC3 attestation reports. Its privacy notice says it will not sell, lease, rent, or trade personal information for third-party marketing without consent. Prospective customers can request a demo; the company says solution experts will contact people who submit its form.

Pricing

ACH Processing Company is paid software with custom pricing. The company invites prospective customers to request pricing and a demo, so there is no stated plan price to compare or published tier structure to weigh. That sales-led approach may suit organizations evaluating a payment-processing relationship, but it makes cost assessment harder for teams that need to screen options against a defined budget before speaking with a provider.

Platforms

The service supports web and API access. The portal is the route for payment scheduling, administration, and reporting; the API provides programmatic transaction creation, search, and return retrieval. ACH credit support and recurring ACH payments are supported.

Who it's for

This is a credible candidate for corporate and municipal teams that process accounts receivable or government payments and value a mix of portal controls, recurring ACH, reporting, and API access. Its industry coverage also includes payroll, accounting, property management, membership services, healthcare, ecommerce, and government.

It is a weaker fit for small teams that require transparent pricing or need to choose entirely through published plan limits. The stated API functions may also fall short for builders whose selection depends on capabilities beyond batch creation, transaction search, and returned-transaction retrieval.

Pros and cons

Pros: Portal scheduling supports both custom recurring schedules and one-off Quick Debit transactions, covering more than a single payment pattern.
Pros: Configurable report fields, report templates, role controls, dual approval, and event notifications give administrators practical oversight tools.
Pros: Sandbox access, API transaction operations, and integrations with Sage 100 Standard, Xero, and QuickBooks support a range of implementation and accounting workflows.
Cons: Custom pricing requires a sales conversation, making early cost comparisons less straightforward.
Cons: The API’s stated scope is specific rather than expansive, so teams should confirm it covers their integration requirements before committing.

Alternatives

ACH Payment Processing Software is the broader category starting point for teams comparing ACH providers.

GoACH uses custom pricing based on industry, volume, and risk profile, with a typical per-transaction fee of $0.20–$1.50; it is a relevant alternative for buyers weighing another quote-based option.
ACHQ has a Starter plan at 39.00 USD per month for up to 500 transactions per month, including online and mobile payments, recurring billing, standard two-day settlement, and email support. Choose it when a published monthly entry point and transaction cap are useful for budgeting.
Checkbook.io ACH API offers ACH Payments starting at 1.00 USD per once, with delivery in up to three business days, and a Business plan at 2000.00 USD per month. It is worth comparing when per-payment pricing or that listed monthly plan is a better match.
Increase ACH lists next-day ACH origination at 0.50 USD per once and same-day origination at 2.00 USD per once. Consider it when origination speed and a per-transaction price are central to the decision.
PayJunction ACH Payment Processing lists Standard and Surcharge month-to-month plans at 0.75 USD per month, with card rates as low as 1.49% + $0.15 and ACH as low as 0.75% for Standard. It may suit buyers comparing explicitly stated card and ACH rates.
Profituity lists an RTO Pro ACH integration at 10.00 USD per month, with 25¢ per transaction, $1.95 per return, and $15 per unauthorized return. It is a narrower alternative for teams using RTO Pro.
Stripe ACH Direct Debit lists standard settlement at 0.80 USD per once per successful transaction, capped at $5.00, with four-business-day settlement and a $0.50 minimum transaction. Consider it when those stated transaction terms suit the payment flow.
Plaid has a free trial for eligible US and Canada teams created on or after April 15, 2026, with up to 10 production items. It is an alternative for eligible teams evaluating a trial with that cap.

Verdict

ACH Processing Company is best suited to corporate and municipal teams that want recurring and one-off ACH payments, administrative controls, reporting, and API access under one provider. Its portal breadth and accounting integrations make it worth a demo for those workflows; teams that need transparent pricing or a more extensively stated API scope should compare alternatives before choosing.
