Overview

Any Video Converter is a desktop media utility for converting and downloading video, with compression, editing and audio extraction alongside its core workflow. It suits Windows and macOS users who want those tasks in one application. Its free tier covers routine work, while the paid plans add acceleration, recording and AI capabilities.

Key features

Format coverage is a practical strength: the product supports more than 1,000 video and audio formats, including MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI and WEBM for video, and MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC and OPUS for audio. Batch conversion and hardware acceleration can help with larger conversion jobs, and output reaches 4K. That should cover many everyday libraries, but is not a fit for workflows requiring higher-resolution exports.

Beyond conversion, it offers downloads from more than 1,000 sites, including HD, 2K, 4K, 8K and HDR video, along with compression, basic editing and audio extraction. AI features include image and video generation, video enhancement, transcription and audio splitting. The free tier does not promise all premium AI capabilities, so teams choosing it specifically for AI work should account for a paid plan.

Pricing

The Free plan is 0.00 USD per free. It includes unlimited video downloads, conversion across 1,000+ formats, unlimited compression and basic editing. It is the sensible starting point for standard desktop tasks, but does not promise the full set of premium AI features.

Pro is shown as 39.95 USD per once, billed Monthly; the page also shows $49.95 / $79.95. It adds GPU acceleration, batch conversion, HD and 4K screen recording and DVD burning to unlimited downloads and 1,000+ format conversion. Those additions suit users who need recording or a faster batch workflow, but the multiple price figures make the amount to budget unclear.

Ultimate is shown as 29.95 USD per once, billed Monthly; the page also shows $69.95 / $89.95. It includes GPU acceleration, batch conversion, AI creation credits and AI video enhancement, as well as unlimited downloads and 1,000+ format conversion. It is the more relevant tier for AI enhancement, though its displayed figures likewise need careful checking before purchase.

Monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before renewal. Monthly and yearly plans have a 5-day guarantee; permanent plans have a 30-day guarantee. Credit pack purchases are final and non-refundable. Free tech support and updates are included.

Platforms

Desktop products include Any Video Converter Free, Free for Mac, Pro and Ultimate. The supported platforms are macOS and Windows, making this a desktop choice rather than a cross-device service for Linux or mobile users.

Who it's for

Choose it if your team needs a Windows or Mac utility that combines broad format conversion with downloads, compression and basic editing, and values batch conversion or hardware acceleration. It is less compelling if the central requirement is an uncapped high-resolution export path or a clearly priced AI subscription.

Pros and cons

Pros: More than 1,000 formats, batch conversion, hardware acceleration and 4K output support a broad set of desktop conversion jobs.
Pros: Downloads, compression, editing and audio extraction reduce the need to switch tools for common media tasks.
Cons: The 4K output ceiling excludes workflows that require higher-resolution exports.
Cons: Paid-plan figures appear alongside separate prices, making it harder to identify the applicable subscription cost.
Cons: Credit purchases are non-refundable, and subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal.

Verdict

Any Video Converter is a good fit for Windows and Mac users who want one desktop tool for format conversion and routine media chores, with a free tier that handles core work. Its breadth and batch support are the main reasons to choose it; look elsewhere if you need output above 4K or want unambiguous paid pricing before committing.
