Overview

PeopleHawk is a career and personal-development platform for students and education providers, with separate preparation products for medical admissions. It is a strong fit when career guidance, readiness activities and school-level provision need to sit alongside one another; it is less compelling for someone seeking only a single assessment or only admissions practice.

Key features

Career exploration and readiness

The Future Pathways Report brings together a user’s values, interests, personality and skills in a personalised 50-page report with recommendations for subjects, careers and pathways. Its 100-question assessment takes around 20 minutes, making it a substantial one-off planning aid rather than a lightweight quiz. Because the report is sold separately from Premium, buyers should decide whether they want that assessment or the broader continuing toolkit.

Premium includes career and course exploration, bite-sized skills learning, CV and digital-profile creation, an AI Elevator Pitch, interview practice with AI feedback, live opportunities and an e-portfolio. That breadth is useful for students working across study and job preparation, though specialist products are sold separately and the facts do not establish that every activity will suit every age or institution.

Provision for schools and admissions

Schools and colleges can use Schemes of Work, Career Readiness Journeys, student insights and reporting, UCAS support, applications and work-experience support. The UK schools offer also integrates Skills Builder for benchmarking and developing Essential Skills through short learning activities. This makes PeopleHawk relevant beyond individual accounts, but the school Future Pathways option starts at cohorts of 100 students, a meaningful threshold for smaller providers.

For medical applicants, HPAT has a free 30-minute readiness test with an estimated score, percentile and personalised feedback, followed by paid Bootcamp and Mastery options. Bootcamp focuses on targeted practice with explanations and feedback; Mastery provides full timed mock exams. MSAT preparation includes practice zones and mock exams with feedback and explanations. These specialist offerings make PeopleHawk more than a general career platform, but they are distinct paid products rather than part of the core Premium subscription.

Pricing

PeopleHawk is freemium. The free HPAT Readiness Test costs 0.00 USD per free and gives applicants a scored starting point without requiring them to buy a preparation package. Premium costs 4.99 GBP per month in the UK or 4.99 EUR per month in Ireland, covering the core career, skills and work-readiness tools. It is the ongoing option for individual students; it does not include the separately sold specialist products.

Future Pathways Reports cost 99.99 GBP per once in the UK or 99.99 EUR per once in Ireland. The school and college version costs 29.99 GBP per once in the UK or 29.99 EUR per once in Ireland, for cohorts of 100 students or more and including five supporting lessons. That per-purchase school price may suit a provider buying for a large cohort, but the minimum cohort makes it a poor fit for a small group.

HPAT Bootcamp costs 99.99 GBP per once in the UK or 99.99 EUR per once in Ireland. HPAT Mastery costs 149.99 EUR per once in Ireland; no UK Mastery price is stated. Buyers should treat these as separate preparation purchases, not subscription upgrades. No trial or renewal terms are stated for the paid plans.

Platforms

PeopleHawk is available on Android, iOS and the web. Its delivery model is both, and the platform includes pathway planning, education matching and a counselor dashboard. That combination supports individual exploration as well as institution-level guidance, though no further deployment or integration details are established beyond the UK Skills Builder integration.

Who it's for

Students comparing courses and careers, building work-readiness skills or preparing for further study are the clearest individual users. Schools, colleges and universities can use the platform for structured careers provision and student reporting; employers and career changers are also within the company’s stated audience. Medical applicants should consider it specifically for HPAT or MSAT preparation, rather than assume those tools come with Premium.

For teams assessing data handling, PeopleHawk says user data and backups are stored and processed in UK and Ireland data centres, with encryption at rest and in transit using 256-bit SSL/TLS 1.3. Its privacy policy places personal data within the UK and EEA, while allowing some technical providers outside those regions subject to safeguards. The company says it holds Cyber Essentials and IASME Governance accreditation and is working toward ISO 27001.

Pros and cons

Pros: Career assessment, ongoing readiness tools and school-level provision cover distinct stages of planning rather than just aptitude testing.
Pros: The free HPAT readiness test offers a scored, feedback-oriented entry point before a paid preparation purchase.
Pros: Android, iOS and web access supports use across common student devices.
Cons: The Future Pathways Report and medical preparation products cost extra, so the low monthly Premium price does not cover every use case.
Cons: The school Future Pathways purchase requires a cohort of at least 100, limiting its fit for smaller groups.
Cons: Some regional prices and products differ, including HPAT Mastery’s stated Ireland price without a corresponding UK price.

Verdict

PeopleHawk is a sensible choice for students and education providers that want career planning and readiness in one platform, especially when school-wide journeys or medical-admissions preparation matter. Its most persuasive advantage is the span from individual exploration to institutional careers provision. Look elsewhere if you need only a low-cost assessment, require a small-cohort school purchase, or want specialist preparation included in the core subscription.
