Overview

Auctria is event fundraising software built around auctions, ticketing and donation workflows. It is best suited to organizations coordinating multi-format fundraising events that need bidding, payment recording and reporting together; its main trade-off is that annual income and bidder caps make plan choice consequential.

It combines event-specific websites with staff and bidder mobile apps, plus payment integrations and a broad reporting toolkit. Nonprofit status is not required, though the product is aimed at nonprofit fundraising.

Key features

Events and bidding

Auctria supports live, silent and online auctions, mobile bidding, raffles, ticket sales, sponsorships and paddle raises. Each event can have a website based on a template or customized core template, with branding, images and video. That breadth suits teams running a varied benefit event; groups seeking only a small online auction may not need the wider event workflow.

Mobile operations and payments

The optional Admin app supports guest check-in, card and tap-to-pay checkout, and recording sales and bids. The Bidder app provides mobile bidding and alerts. Stripe and Authorize.Net integrations handle card payments, while cash and checks can also be recorded. Auctria says card details remain with the connected processor and it retains a secure token rather than the full card number; it also states that the platform supports PCI DSS v4.0 responsibilities and uses TLS, multifactor authentication, password complexity rules, lockout and session timeouts.

Reporting and connections

More than 100 customizable report templates and filters give organizers substantial options for event reporting, and event data can be exported for CRM use. Spreadsheet import and export support bulk transfers. Automations uses Zapier for event-triggered notifications to services such as Slack, Gmail and Google Calendar, a practical connection path for teams that already rely on those tools.

Pricing

Auctria has a free Explorer plan and paid annual subscriptions, alongside one-time assistance and launch services. Explorer costs 0.00 USD per free and includes unlimited events, but caps annual income at $10,000, bidders at 250 per event and team members at three; its credit card fee is 1%. It includes support through chat and email. This is a reasonable entry point for smaller events, but the income and team ceilings can force an upgrade as fundraising scales.

Emerald costs 375.00 USD per year and raises the caps to $50,000 annual income, 750 bidders per event and 10 team members, with a 0.5% credit card fee and unlimited events. It includes priority chat and email support. Diamond costs 750.00 USD per year, removes the annual income tracking cap, allows 1,000 bidders per event and 99 team members, and lowers the credit card fee to 0.25%; it also includes unlimited events and priority support. Emerald fits established organizations with moderate event scale, while Diamond is the stronger fit for larger teams or higher-volume fundraising.

Assist 20 is a one-time $49.95 USD per call for one scheduled 20-minute Zoom call; Assist 45 is $99.95 USD per call for one scheduled 45-minute call. Launch Foundation costs +$499 per event for assisted setup of one event, and Launch Advantage costs +$749 per event for guest management up to 250 guests. Both require an active Emerald or Diamond subscription. Launch Premier offers customized ticket management for more than 250 guests with custom pricing, also requiring Emerald or Diamond. Paid plans include an initial block of texts, with further texts available for purchase; texting is limited to the United States and Canada.

Platforms

Auctria is available on web, Android and iOS. Its Admin and Bidder apps give staff and participants different mobile workflows, though the Admin app is optional.

Who it's for

Auctria suits nonprofit and other organizations that run fundraising events with multiple auction formats, on-site payments and follow-up reporting. Its unlimited event allowance applies across the subscription plans, but the Explorer and Emerald income limits and per-event bidder caps matter for organizations anticipating growth. Teams outside the United States and Canada should not rely on texting as part of their event plan.

Pros and cons

Pros: Multiple auction and fundraising formats, dedicated event websites, and separate staff and bidder apps support a single event workflow.
Pros: More than 100 report templates, CRM data export, and Zapier-based notifications give teams ways to connect event work to other processes.
Pros: The free plan permits unlimited events, giving smaller organizations room to run multiple events before paying.
Cons: Explorer limits annual income to $10,000, bidders to 250 per event and the team to three; organizations exceeding those limits must move to a paid tier.
Cons: Texting is restricted to the United States and Canada, limiting its usefulness for events elsewhere.
Cons: Launch services require an active Emerald or Diamond subscription, so they are not add-ons for Explorer users.

Alternatives

Choose Event.Gives if its free plan's registration, check-in, mobile bidding, ticketing and donation tools are a closer fit. 32auctions is worth considering for a small online-only auction: its free plan allows up to 20 items and unlimited bidders, but limits each item to one image and includes third-party ads. BetterWorld offers a free plan with a 0% platform fee, while its Flex plan adds a 2.2–5% platform fee; compare that fee structure with Auctria's annual plans and card fees.

BiddingOwl, GalaBid, iBid, Snowball Fundraising and RallyUp are other options to compare for auction or fundraising workflows.

For broader comparisons, see Charity Auction Software, Auction Software and Fundraising Event Software.

Verdict

Auctria is a strong fit for organizations that need auctions, ticketing, mobile bidding and event reporting under one roof, especially when unlimited events and multiple payment methods matter. Its tiered bidder, income and team limits provide a clear upgrade path, but teams should look elsewhere if texting outside the United States and Canada is essential or the per-event caps do not fit their scale.
