Overview

Authic lets businesses publish an app under their own name on the App Store and Google Play, with control over its colors, logo, images, and text. Customers can earn points, claim rewards, and receive notifications. That combination gives a business a direct branded channel for ongoing engagement, rather than a loyalty program limited to a generic punch card.

The product is oriented toward sports and wellness businesses, including clinics, salons, restaurants, and clubs. Its scope reaches beyond loyalty: businesses can also offer paid memberships with recurring payments through Stripe. That breadth is useful when a business wants one customer program to support both rewards and subscription-like benefits, but it is not a substitute for a full booking or salon-management system on the facts available.

Key features

Loyalty and engagement

Authic supports rewards for referrals, repeat visits, reviews, social-media engagement, and questionnaires, along with challenges, tiers, and notifications. This gives operators several ways to encourage customer activity beyond purchases alone. The value depends on having a clear program strategy: a broad menu of mechanics does not itself establish which incentives will suit a particular customer base.

API and integrations

The Loyalty API can track points automatically for bookings, purchases, and check-ins, and connect rewards to webshops. Authic names integration categories including online booking, e-commerce, customer management, email marketing such as Mailchimp, POS, and customer data platforms. Those connections make it a more plausible fit for teams with an existing stack than a standalone loyalty app. For needs outside those categories, Authic says it can build custom integrations; teams should establish the scope and any associated cost before relying on that route.

Analytics, memberships, and onboarding

The dashboard covers member growth, visit frequency, spend, and reward redemptions, useful measures for assessing whether a program is gaining traction and changing customer behavior. Businesses can create multiple paid membership plans with distinct prices and benefits, with recurring charges powered by Stripe. Authic offers custom program design and full onboarding support, and says most customers launch within 48 hours. That is an attractive service component for teams that want help getting a program live, though the launch timeframe is not a substitute for confirming integration and commercial requirements.

Pricing

Authic uses custom pricing. Fees are agreed in the customer agreement and charged monthly or yearly; additional services or features may cost extra. There are no published tier prices or quotas to compare, so the commercial fit depends on the proposed agreement and the features a business needs. Before signing, confirm the billing term, included capabilities, and whether integrations or other requested services carry separate charges.

Platforms

Authic supports web, Android, iOS, and API access. Its branded app publishing targets the App Store and Google Play, while API access supports connections to business systems. The platform is marked as supporting client messaging, loyalty programs, memberships, retail offers, and push notifications.

Who it's for

Authic is a strong candidate for a salon, clinic, restaurant, club, or wellness operator that wants a branded mobile app and a loyalty program tied to bookings, purchases, or visits. It is especially relevant when paid memberships and custom integration work matter alongside rewards. Businesses that mainly need appointment scheduling or broader operational management should compare dedicated platforms before treating Authic as their core system.

Pros and cons

Pros: Branded iOS and Android apps let a business control the customer-facing identity rather than sending customers to a generic loyalty experience.
Pros: The API can automate points for bookings, purchases, and check-ins, reducing the need to rely only on manual reward tracking.
Pros: Loyalty mechanics, tiering, analytics, and paid memberships cover more than a basic points program.
Pros: Custom program design and onboarding support may help teams that need assistance launching a customer program.
Cons: Custom pricing and possible extra charges for services or features make it harder to budget without a detailed customer agreement.
Cons: Custom integrations may require additional coordination and cost, so teams with a specific system dependency should confirm feasibility and terms first.
Cons: Authic's described focus is customer engagement and loyalty; operators seeking a complete booking and management system may need a different primary platform.

Alternatives

For salon operators weighing a branded customer app against dedicated salon software, compare Salon App Builder Software as a category.

Nexvort Aura has a published Growth price of 499.00 SAR per month, billed quarterly, with a minimum six-month subscription, up to two POS terminals, a 3,500 SAR one-time implementation fee, and VAT excluded. Choose it when those stated terms and POS limit are a better fit for the budget and setup.
SalonIQ starts at 47.00 GBP per month, billed monthly, with a one-time setup fee from £175 + VAT; its Solo stylist starting price and booking, management, and marketing system make it relevant for a solo stylist seeking an operational suite.
WellnessLiving offers a free plan and free trial, plus a Starter plan at 62.00 USD per month billed annually for one staff member, booking, client and staff apps, and POS. It suits buyers who want to assess a broader booking and POS system with a free trial.
Next has a free booking, scheduling, and app tier, with optional unlimited SMS texts for 5.00 USD per month. It is a lower-commitment alternative when free booking and scheduling are the priority.
Salonist has a free tier capped at 50 appointments per month, including online booking, calendar and scheduling, and staff shift management. It may suit a small operation that can work within that appointment cap.
SalonSynq has a free Start Plan with unlimited bookings and one user, manual payment logging, a vanity booking link, and email reminders. Consider it when those booking basics matter more than a branded loyalty program.
ScheduleAnyone is another scheduling alternative.

Verdict

Choose Authic if your business wants its own customer app and a loyalty program that can connect to bookings, purchases, or check-ins, with paid memberships as an added option. Its combination of branding, loyalty mechanics, API connectivity, and onboarding is compelling for customer-engagement programs. Look elsewhere if your primary need is a full booking and management system, or if you need predictable published pricing before starting a purchase conversation.
