Overview

Pipefy organizes processes as customizable Kanban-style Pipes: stages track progress and cards represent work items. Conditional logic, SLA management, advanced reports, secure databases, automated emails, and process integrations give teams tools to structure handoffs beyond a basic task board. That flexibility favors teams formalizing recurring operations; simpler workflows may not need this level of process setup.

Pipefy AI Agents can perform tasks, make decisions, and interact with systems either autonomously or under supervision. The platform advertises over 600 ready-to-use connectors and no-code, drag-and-drop integration flows, useful for connecting processes without building every integration from scratch. Pipefy says data is encrypted in transit and at rest using 256-bit encryption and uptime is 99.9% or higher. Its Trust Center lists a 2025 SOC 2 report and ISO 27001, ISO 27018, ISO 27701, and ISO 42001 certificates, with access requests required.

Key features

Configurable processes: Pipes, stages, cards, and conditional logic let teams model work around their own handoffs. Starter's five-process and five-workflow limits make it better suited to a bounded set of processes than broad deployment.
Automation and AI: Business includes 300 automation jobs per month and Enterprise 2,000. Each plan includes 1,000 single-use AI credits, with additional credits available as add-ons; teams should distinguish that credit allowance from automation-job capacity when sizing use.
Integration and API: The connector catalog and no-code flows offer breadth, but pricing lists API access as a Business feature with plan-specific monthly call limits. Teams that depend on direct API access should account for those limits before choosing a tier.
Support: Free plans receive community support, Business includes Standard Support, and Enterprise receives support from Pipefy's team. That progression matters for teams needing a more direct support path.

Pricing

Pipefy uses a freemium model with a free plan, but prices for Starter, Business, and Enterprise are custom pricing. The paid tiers therefore require a quote rather than a public price comparison.

Plan	Included	Best fit
Starter	5 processes, 10 users, 50 cards created per month, 2 GB storage, 500 database records, and 5 workflows	Small teams with limited process volume; the monthly card cap and user ceiling constrain broader use.
Business	Unlimited processes, users, and workflows; 100 guest users; 20 GB storage; 300 automation jobs per month	Teams needing scale across internal processes, guests, and API access, while keeping automation volume moderate.
Enterprise	Unlimited processes, users, workflows, and guest users; 100 interfaces; 2,000 automation jobs per month	Organizations with higher automation needs or broad external collaboration.

All plans include 1,000 single-use AI credits, and additional credits can be purchased as add-ons. The Free plan has community support; Business and Enterprise offer stronger support arrangements. Starter's 50-card monthly creation limit, 10-user cap, storage allowance, and database-record cap are the key trade-offs against its entry-level scope. Business removes process, user, and workflow ceilings, but still limits guest users, storage, and automation jobs. Enterprise expands guest capacity and automation, while its interface count remains capped at 100.

Platforms

Pipefy supports web, Android, iOS, and API. Smartphone and tablet apps are available, with help content for both Android and iOS. API access is listed as a Business feature, so teams on lower tiers should not assume it is included.

Who it's for

Pipefy fits teams standardizing recurring business processes that cross people or systems, especially when they need configurable workflow logic, integrations, and supervised or autonomous AI agents. It is less compelling for a small team whose work stays within a handful of simple tasks, or for a team that needs API access on its entry tier. Organizations should also compare their expected card, automation, guest, and storage volumes with the tier caps.

Pros and cons

Pro: Pipes combine stages, cards, and conditional logic, giving teams a way to represent structured processes rather than only track tasks.
Pro: More than 600 advertised connectors and no-code integration flows can help link business processes to other systems.
Pro: AI agents support both autonomous and supervised operation, giving teams options for how much decision-making to delegate.
Pro: Business and Enterprise remove process, user, and workflow limits, with Enterprise also allowing unlimited guest users.
Con: Custom pricing across the named plans makes cost comparison and budget planning dependent on a quote.
Con: Starter caps users, processes, workflows, monthly cards, storage, and database records, which can make it a poor fit for growing or broad deployments.
Con: API access is a Business feature and has plan-specific monthly call limits, restricting lower-tier integration options.
Con: Automation jobs remain tier-limited, and AI credits are finite even though additional credits can be purchased.

Verdict

Choose Pipefy if your team needs configurable business processes, broad integration options, and AI agents with both supervised and autonomous modes. Its plan structure can support growth into higher process and automation volumes, but custom pricing, Starter caps, and Business-gated API access are reasons to look elsewhere if cost certainty or entry-tier API use is essential.
