Overview

Upload MP3, WAV, FLAC, or AIFF tracks and automixer.ai analyzes BPM, key, energy, and musical structure before generating a DJ set. For each transition it ranks three to five complete options, rather than locking users into a single automated result. That makes it more suitable for shaping a set than for hands-off batch mixing where every decision is delegated.

Seven styles cover smooth blend, filter sweep, drop mix, echo out, stem swap, vocal ride, and quick cut. The range allows different transition treatments, though users still work within the service’s generated choices. Vocal scanning can reject a point or apply EQ automation to separate overlapping vocals, a practical safeguard for dense pairings.

Key features

Track analysis and mixing

Analysis across tempo, key, energy, and structure gives the generator several musical characteristics to use when proposing transitions. Beat matching, stem separation, automated mixing, and AI track selection are among its capabilities. The feature set suits users looking for an assisted workflow from track analysis through mix creation, rather than only a library organizer.

Exports and Beatport

MP3 exports run at 320 kbps; paid plans add lossless WAV at 44.1 kHz. The service says it normalizes exports to EBU R128, which gives users a consistent loudness target. Beatport integration supports browsing purchases, importing metadata, and matching uploaded files by ISRC; purchase access is included with Pro and Studio.

Pricing

Free costs $0 forever and includes three projects, six tracks per project, five exports per month, MP3 at 320 kbps, and 1 GB of storage. Community support is included. Those caps make it useful for trying a small workflow, but not for regular set production or WAV delivery.

Pro costs $14.99/month, billed monthly, and raises limits to 15 projects, 20 tracks per project, 50 exports per month, and 10 GB of storage. It adds WAV alongside MP3, Beatport purchase access, and email support with a 24-hour response. This is the practical fit for DJs, fitness instructors, and creators who export frequently but do not need unlimited capacity.

Studio costs $29.99/month, billed monthly, with unlimited projects, up to 50 tracks per project, unlimited exports, and 100 GB of storage. It includes WAV and MP3, Beatport purchase access, dedicated support, and API access marked as coming soon. The higher tier is aimed at professionals, studios, and high-volume users; the API is not a current integration to depend on.

A 7-day trial is available. Choose Free for occasional evaluation, Pro for recurring output and better-quality exports, or Studio when Pro’s export and project ceilings are too restrictive.

Platforms

Automixer.ai runs on the web. That avoids tying the workflow to a desktop operating system, but readers who need native macOS, Windows, iOS, or Android software should compare platform-specific alternatives.

Who it's for

Automixer.ai fits DJs and creators who want a browser workflow that analyzes tracks, proposes several transitions, and exports finished mixes. Instructors with recurring playlists may value Pro’s 50 monthly exports. It is a weaker fit for users who need extensive free use, more than 50 tracks in one project, or a currently available API.

Pros and cons

Pros: Three to five ranked transition choices give users some control without requiring manual transition construction.
Pros: Vocal-overlap scanning and EQ automation address crowded vocal transitions.
Pros: Broad upload format support and paid WAV export cover common source and delivery needs.
Cons: Free allows only five monthly exports and six tracks per project, limiting ongoing use.
Cons: WAV export and Beatport purchase access require a paid plan.
Cons: Studio’s API access is coming soon, so teams cannot treat it as an existing integration.

Alternatives

Compare AI DJ software if you want to survey the broader category before choosing a workflow.

CortexDJ is worth considering if you want a free home-use plan with AI auto-mix, mashups, live decks, mix rendering, and export to rekordbox and Serato, or need macOS and Windows alongside web.
MIXX Intelligence is a macOS alternative for free crate-wide analysis, including key, BPM, and energy on every track.
Offtrack is an alternative with Android, iOS, and macOS support.
SetPrep suits macOS or Windows users seeking a free allowance of three mixes per month or a $5.99/month Pro Monthly plan.
AuraJam is another web option, with five free exports a day and a small mark on free exports.
CRATELAB is an option if you need Linux support alongside web, macOS, or Windows.
djay suits users who want a free-download mixing app across Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows, with optional PRO subscription for advanced features.
Mixbridge is a free alternative on iOS and web.

Verdict

Choose automixer.ai if you want web-based set generation with multiple transition choices, vocal-aware handling, and paid WAV exports in one workflow. Its main advantage is that automation leaves room to select among complete transitions; its main drawback is that meaningful ongoing use and WAV delivery quickly move beyond the tightly capped free tier. For desktop or mobile-first mixing, compare an alternative built for those platforms.
