Overview

Backloggr is a game-library and play-tracking app for players who want a single record across console and PC accounts. It is best suited to Apple-device users who value collection analytics and a shared trophy view. The broad feature set is compelling, but the unfinished privacy policy is a serious reason for caution before linking accounts.

Key features

Backloggr says its catalog spans more than 350,000 games across 250+ platforms. PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam libraries can sync automatically; the App Store description also includes Nintendo Switch imports. Manual entry for physical copies and indie games provides a way to include games that are not captured through those connections.

Tracking covers collection size, completion rate, backlog depth, hours played, a backlog score, and a Year in Review. That range can help players understand both the scale of an unfinished collection and their play patterns, rather than merely recording ownership. Players who only want achievement tracking may find the library and backlog tools broader than they need.

Discovery features surface games trending with the community, release countdowns for wishlisted titles, and new releases ordered by hype. A unified dashboard brings together Steam achievements, PlayStation trophies, and Xbox Gamerscore. Reviews, public lists, follows, comments, direct messages, badges, and a community feed add social activity, which will appeal to players who want recommendations and discussion alongside personal tracking.

The site says account connections are read-only and used only to build and sync the library. That limits the stated purpose of connected accounts, but it does not resolve the larger privacy concern: the website's policy identifies itself as a placeholder and says it still needs actual processing details and controller information. The same policy says the marketing site uses no advertising or tracking cookies and embeds no third-party analytics or fonts; that is a narrower assurance than a complete account-data policy.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 EUR per free and includes library import, game tracking, trophies, and backlog tracking. It is a practical starting point for players who want the core tracking workflow without a paid commitment.

Backloggr Pro adds extra customization and advanced features. The Monthly plan is 2.99 USD per month, the Annual plan is 8.99 USD per year, and the Lifetime plan is 14.99 USD per once. The annual and lifetime terms are low-cost ways to access Pro, while monthly pricing suits someone who prefers not to make a longer commitment. The plan descriptions do not distinguish the specific advanced features or state free-plan caps, so the Free plan is the clearest fit if the included core tools are enough.

Platforms

Backloggr is listed for iOS and macOS. The App Store listing describes an iPhone and iPad app requiring iOS 17.6 or later or iPadOS 17.6 or later. It is not a fit for teams seeking an Android or web client.

Who it's for

Choose Backloggr if you use Apple devices, want to consolidate game libraries across supported accounts, and will make use of backlog metrics, cross-platform achievement tracking, or its community features. It is less suitable if a complete privacy policy is a prerequisite for connecting accounts, or if you need access beyond iOS and macOS.

Pros and cons

Pro: Automatic imports from major console and PC accounts, plus manual additions, make it easier to keep one collection that includes both digital and physical games.
Pro: Backlog and play statistics pair with a unified achievement dashboard, serving both collection organizers and players who track completion.
Pro: A free plan includes imports, tracking, trophies, and backlog features, so users can start with the core product at no cost.
Con: The privacy policy is explicitly incomplete, leaving important account-data processing and controller details unresolved.
Con: Apple-only platform coverage excludes players who need an Android or web app.
Con: Pro's feature descriptions remain broad, making it difficult to judge which advanced capabilities justify a paid plan.

Alternatives

Browse Game Achievement Trackers for a wider set of options. Pick Game Rover if Android or web access matters; its free tier caps active games at 200, syncs platforms once a month, and limits lists and Scout AI messages. Consider GameSave if you want a Linux or Windows option with a free core app and extra pages unlocked through earned Credits. PocketPSN is a more focused choice for PlayStation Stars collectibles, custom lists, and friend-filtered leaderboards, with Android, iOS, and web access.

Trophy Hub suits players seeking a free, ad-free option across Android, iOS, web, and Windows, with 1 GB of cloud storage. EveryGameStat is a free web and Windows alternative centered on account linking, a player card, a library, and a leaderboard. GamersVault offers a free web option with no premium tiers or ads. Pyroblast is a free-to-start web option for connecting Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox accounts. Choose Trophy Rooms if you want an iOS or web tracker without in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Verdict

Backloggr is a strong fit for Apple-device players who want library imports, backlog analytics, and achievements in one place, with a free tier that covers core tracking. Its broad scope is the main reason to choose it; its incomplete privacy policy is the main reason to wait or look elsewhere before connecting gaming accounts.
