Overview

Beagle Security is an agentic AI penetration-testing platform for web applications, APIs and GraphQL. It is best suited to teams that want recurring automated testing connected to their development workflows, with room to configure authenticated and business-logic scenarios. Its monthly test quotas make the fit depend on how often you need a full penetration-test run.

Key features

Beagle Security automates vulnerability identification, validation and prioritization, with more than 3,000 test cases that include OWASP Top 10 and CWE Top 25 coverage. That breadth gives teams a substantial baseline for recurring application checks, while the per-run test allowance remains the practical constraint on how often they can use it.

Teams can record complex login flows and points of interest, which lets testing address application functionality beyond an unauthenticated scan. Reports can include contextual recommendations and export to PDF, JSON, XML or CSV, serving both people who need readable findings and teams that feed results into other processes.

CI/CD integrations include Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Bitbucket and Azure Pipelines. Results can also flow to Jira, Slack, Microsoft Teams and Trello. The Beagle Web API supports programmatic project and application management, test control and retrieval of results, making the platform more adaptable to teams that automate security operations.

Compliance-mapped penetration reports are offered for HIPAA and PCI DSS. Beagle Security says it is ISO 27001 compliant and uses encryption, role-based access and real-time security monitoring; its trust page states a 99.9% uptime guarantee. These assurances may matter to teams with security and availability requirements, though they do not change the plan quotas.

Pricing

The free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes one lite test per month, monthly surface scan reports, and SSL and domain-expiry monitoring. It is a useful starting point for light monitoring, but the single lite test limits its value for teams seeking regular full penetration testing.

Essential costs 99.00 USD per month, billed $1188 annually. It allows two tests per month, one concurrent test and five team members. This is the entry paid tier for small teams with a modest testing cadence; annual billing is a meaningful commitment, and the one-test-at-a-time limit constrains parallel work.

Advanced costs 299.00 USD per month, billed $3588 annually. It raises the allowance to 15 tests per month, four concurrent tests and 15 team members. Teams running frequent tests across active projects get substantially more room, but pay for that capacity whether or not they use every run.

Enterprise has custom pricing, with custom monthly tests, concurrent tests and team members. It is the fit for organizations that need tailored capacity; it also includes priority support, a dedicated customer success manager and concierge onboarding. Tests are counted per penetration-test run, and there is no limit on the number of targets, so cadence—not target count—is the core quota to compare with your workload. A 14-day trial is offered.

Platforms

Beagle Security supports API and web platforms, including API testing, browser-based scanning and authenticated scanning. Its deployment model is hybrid, and CI/CD integration supports teams that want testing connected to build and delivery workflows.

Who it's for

Beagle Security fits development and security teams that need recurring web or API penetration testing, can make use of its integrations, and can plan work around monthly run and concurrency limits. Teams with many targets but a controlled test cadence may benefit from the unlimited target count. It is less suitable when testing needs routinely exceed the chosen plan's monthly allowance or when annual billing at the paid tiers is a poor fit.

Pros and cons

Pros: More than 3,000 test cases and recorded login flows support broader, authenticated application testing.
Pros: CI/CD, issue-tracking and messaging integrations, plus a Web API, give teams several ways to fit results into existing workflows.
Pros: PDF, JSON, XML and CSV reports offer both human-readable and machine-friendly outputs.
Cons: Essential permits only two tests monthly and one concurrent test, which can be restrictive for active teams.
Cons: Paid plans are billed annually at the stated rates, requiring a longer commitment than a month-to-month price would.
Cons: The free plan provides one lite test per month rather than the higher test volume available on paid tiers.

Alternatives

For broader DAST options, compare Dynamic Application Security Testing Software, Web Application Security Scanners and API Security Testing Software.

Choose Qualys External Attack Surface Management if you want to try its CSAM with EASM at no cost for 30 days; it has no free plan.
Choose OWASP ZAP if a free, open-source tool that anyone can contribute to is the priority.
Consider Bright Security DAST if you want a paid DAST option with a demo request.
Consider Burp Suite DAST if a tailored solution with pricing based on portfolio suits your needs.
Consider Veracode DAST if you want a paid web-application and API option with a live demo request.
Choose Invicti if a one-time, $500.00 application-and-API-suite pentest delivered within 24 hours fits better; it includes audit-ready PDF reports.
Consider Rapid7 Surface Command if asset discovery, unified inventory and internal and external attack-surface visibility are your priority.
Consider Checkmarx DAST if a DAST add-on with SaaS or self-hosted deployment and a custom quote fits your stack.

Verdict

Beagle Security is a strong fit for teams seeking automated, configurable web and API penetration testing integrated with delivery and issue workflows. Its broad test coverage, authenticated-flow support and flexible report formats are the main reasons to choose it. Look elsewhere if your testing cadence outgrows the monthly run limits, or if annual billing at the paid tiers does not suit your budget or procurement cycle.
