Overview

Tenderbolt covers the work from initial go/no-go assessment through questionnaire and proposal drafting. It extracts requirements, deadlines, penalties, and scoring criteria into a qualification summary, giving teams a structured basis for deciding whether to pursue an opportunity.

Drafts draw on a company knowledge base, and proposal content can link back to source documents. The FAQ says the system flags missing information rather than inventing it. That traceability helps reviewers check answers, though it does not replace their judgment about whether a response is accurate or appropriate.

Key features

Qualification and drafting

For teams handling multiple tenders, extracting deadlines, penalties, requirements, and scoring criteria can make early assessment more systematic. Tenderbolt also drafts responses for Excel questionnaires, DDQs, and security portals, and generates structured technical proposals aligned to client requirements. Answers can be returned in a client’s original format, and proposal responses can be exported as DOCX.

Knowledge and collaboration

The reusable content library supports PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge files. Source links make it easier to trace a draft to supporting material, while the shared workspace lets teams assign questions, review answers, track validation, and manage approval. This is a practical combination for bids that require input from multiple contributors; teams with simple, individual response needs may not need the added coordination layer.

Integrations and data handling

Tenderbolt names SharePoint, Google Drive, Notion, CRM and ERP tools, and a REST API as integration options. It says data is hosted in Europe, encrypted, isolated in private workspaces, and handled under SOC 2 Type II standards. The company also says customer data is not reused or used to train shared or public AI models. These commitments may matter to teams working with sensitive bid material.

Pricing

Custom pricing: Pricing is tailored to team size and RFP volume, with a demo offered to prospective customers. There is no standard plan grid to compare, so teams should establish the cost for their expected bid volume and contributors before deciding. This approach may suit organizations that want a team-specific arrangement, but it leaves smaller or occasional bidders without a clear self-serve price point.

Tenderbolt describes customers ranging from SMEs to enterprise accounts and says teams can start using the platform in less than 24 hours. A demo is the stated route to evaluating the product and its fit.

Platforms

Tenderbolt supports web and API access. The API is relevant for teams connecting bid work to existing systems, while the web workspace supports shared response and review workflows.

Who it's for

Tenderbolt is a strong fit for teams with recurring RFP, RFQ, or public tender work, especially when answers need to draw on a reusable knowledge base and pass through contributor review and approval. Its source-linked drafts, format support, and integrations address common coordination demands in larger bid processes. Teams with only occasional bids, or those unwilling to seek custom pricing, may prefer a product with a published entry plan.

Pros and cons

Pros: Requirement extraction structures the go/no-go decision around deadlines, penalties, and scoring criteria.
Pros: Source-linked answers and explicit flagging of missing information give reviewers a clearer way to verify drafts.
Pros: Assignment, validation tracking, and approval support coordinated work across contributors.
Pros: PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge files, client-format answers, and DOCX export suit document-heavy response work.
Cons: Custom pricing makes costs difficult to compare without discussing team size and RFP volume.
Cons: Teams without recurring bids or shared response responsibilities may find the qualification and collaboration workflow more than they need.
