Overview

PicWish AI Object Remover uses AI to erase selected elements from uploaded photos, with options for individual edits, batch work, and API integration. It is best suited to people and teams that need repeatable photo cleanup without building image processing from scratch. The mix of selection tools and a 50-image batch limit is useful; the free plan’s daily non-HD download cap is the main constraint for regular use.

Key features

For text and logo watermarks, PicWish offers automatic detection. For other targets, users mark the area with a brush, rectangle, or lasso, then use generative reconstruction to fill the removed region. That makes it practical for removing passersby, small objects, timestamps, blemishes, and logos, though it still calls for image-by-image selection when the target is not detected automatically.

The web tool accepts PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP, BMP, JFIF, and HEIC uploads. A batch can contain up to 50 images; users select what to remove in each, process them together, and download the results as a ZIP. This is a useful throughput feature for recurring cleanup, not a substitute for selecting the unwanted area in each photo.

PicWish also offers an object-removal API for apps, websites, and workflows. Integration documentation and one-on-one guidance are available, making the API relevant to developers who need removal inside an existing product or process. The API page lists Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS compatibility. PicWish states that it is ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 certified and GDPR compliant. Uploaded images are transferred using SSL/TLS, used for the requested processing, and automatically deleted one hour after the user last edits or closes the processing page.

Pricing

PicWish uses a freemium model, with a free plan, a 3-day trial, and paid options. The Free Plan costs 0.00 USD per free and provides previews for most features and access to free tools, but limits non-HD downloads per day. That works for occasional edits; the cap makes it a poor fit for dependable daily output.

The Yearly Plan costs 59.99 USD per year, billed yearly, and can be canceled anytime. It includes 100 HD downloads per day and 450 credits per month. It suits users with regular image volume who need HD downloads, but the daily ceiling and monthly credits still matter when estimating workload. The advertised paid entry point is $4.29/mo (annual).

For users who prefer credits without a recurring term, 5,000 Credits costs 65.99 USD per once and 11,500 Credits costs 99.95 USD per once. Both are permanently valid and include full access to all features. These one-time packs avoid monthly renewal, but the yearly plan is the option with a stated daily HD download allowance and monthly credit allocation.

Platforms

The primary editing platform is web. PicWish also supports Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows, and offers API access. That range gives teams options for individual use and integration, though the batch workflow and supported upload formats are specifically described for the online tool.

Who it's for

PicWish fits social media, office, learning, e-commerce, and design work where unwanted elements need to be removed from photos. The 50-image batch workflow is useful for repeated cleanup, while the API is the stronger reason for product teams to consider it. It is less compelling for users who only need a few edits and expect unrestricted HD downloads on a free plan.

Pros and cons

Pros: Automatic text and logo watermark detection plus three manual selection tools cover different cleanup tasks.
Pros: Batch processing handles up to 50 images and returns a ZIP, reducing repetitive download work.
Pros: API documentation and one-on-one guidance give developers a path to integrate removal into existing workflows.
Cons: The free plan limits non-HD downloads per day, so it is not a reliable no-cost option for high-volume output.
Cons: Batch processing still requires users to select the unwanted items in each image.
Cons: The yearly plan has daily HD and monthly credit limits, while credit packs require an upfront payment.

Alternatives

AI Object Removal Tools is a useful starting point for comparing options in this category. Consider Cutout.Pro if its $5.00 USD per month subscription with 80 credits/month and broader platform support better fit your workflow. Clipdrop is another freemium alternative, with a free plan that includes several image tools and 20/24h limits for background removal, upscaling, cleanup, and relighting. Choose Pixelcut if its free export without watermark and limited background removal and upscale fit your needs.

SnapEdit Remove Object may suit users who want a stated 4,800 credits each year, batch processing, no watermark, and export up to 5600px for 6.00 USD per month. If your requirement is specifically an object-removal API, compare PicWish’s editor with PicWish Objects Removal API. BOARD AI Editor offers a five-edit free credit option and a 10-edit one-time credit pack for 5.00 USD. insMind AI Image Enlarger is a freemium alternative with a Pro plan at 6.99 USD per month for premium-quality, watermark-free downloads. Magic Eraser by Magic Studio has a free tier with 40 AI generations, limited-resolution downloads, a watermark, one image at a time, and ads.

Verdict

PicWish is a sound choice for users who need a combination of guided photo cleanup, batch processing, and an API path into existing applications or workflows. Its range of selection methods and 50-image batches are the clearest reasons to choose it. Look elsewhere if the free daily non-HD cap or the paid plans’ stated download and credit limits do not fit your expected volume.
