Overview

BoardiGO is governance software for organisations that need board materials, decisions and follow-up tied to a shared record. Its strongest fit is a board office or growing organisation that wants a connected workflow from pack preparation through signed decisions and tracked actions.

It spans the work before, during and after a meeting. Pack-section owners contribute material, the secretary orders and publishes the pack in one controlled step, and votes are recorded against agenda questions with quorum and approval rules applied automatically. Signatures and signed documents stay linked to their decisions; minutes are drafted from the live meeting record for review and signature. This connected trail is useful for teams that need decisions and resulting work to remain traceable, rather than dispersed across separate meeting tasks.

Key features

Preparation, decisions and follow-up

Board-pack ownership and controlled publication give secretaries a clear point of coordination. Automated quorum, majority and approval rules can reduce manual vote handling, while action owners, deadlines and close-out tracked alongside the originating decision keep post-meeting accountability in view.

Minutes can be drafted from the live meeting record, and AI can assist with agenda preparation and document review as well. Those capabilities are aids, not substitutes for governance review: AI output remains under human review, and minutes still require review and signature.

Connections and API

The integrations page names Google Workspace (Drive and Calendar), Microsoft 365 (SharePoint and OneDrive), Zoom, Teams, Google Meet and Webex. Provider support is confirmed during evaluation or onboarding, so teams should verify their intended connection before committing. The API documentation covers board meetings, voting systems, document management and administrative workflows, making BoardiGO relevant to teams that want governance records to connect with their own systems.

Pricing

BoardiGO has a free plan and paid plans. Free costs 0.00 EUR per free and covers one organisation, up to 10 users, 2 GB storage, core board-governance workflow and task management. It is a practical starting point for a small organisation, but the user and storage caps constrain broader adoption.

Pro costs 55.00 EUR per month, billed yearly. It removes the user cap and raises storage to 100 GB, adding the full board-pack workflow, proxies, AI agenda and minutes, KPI dashboard and status reports, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 connections, labels and bulk uploads. For teams that need a full board workflow or integrations, Pro is the clear step up; its annual billing is a material commitment even though the displayed price is monthly.

Enterprise has custom pricing and 500 GB storage. Enterprise SSO is included, while support and escalation terms are set in each customer's commercial agreement. Organisations weighing this plan should assess those contractual terms alongside their storage and identity needs.

Platforms

BoardiGO is available on web and iOS, and it has an API. That combination suits teams seeking browser access, mobile use and a route for integrating governance workflows. Android is not among its stated platforms.

Who it's for

BoardiGO is aimed at funded startups and scale-ups, fund governance and ManCos, board administrators, corporate secretaries, nonprofits and foundations. It is most compelling where a team wants one connected process for packs, approvals, signatures and action tracking. The company says it is hosted in Europe and has an ISO/IEC 27001-certified information security management system.

Its security and deployment boundaries rule it out for some organisations: BoardiGO does not hold SOC, HIPAA, FedRAMP or HDS attestations, and does not offer a single-country contractual residency lock, private cloud or on-premises deployment. Teams with those requirements should look elsewhere rather than assume Enterprise changes the deployment model.

Pros and cons

Pros

Decision-to-action continuity: Signed documents and follow-up remain attached to the decision that created them, supporting a more traceable governance record.
Structured meeting workflow: Pack ownership, controlled publication and automatic vote-rule handling address concrete coordination work for secretaries and boards.
Integration and API options: Named collaboration connections and documented governance endpoints give teams paths to fit BoardiGO into existing workflows.

Cons

Limited free capacity: One organisation, 10 users and 2 GB make Free better for a small board than a growing governance operation.
Annual Pro commitment: The 55.00 EUR per month price is billed yearly, which may not suit teams seeking a short-term paid option.
Compliance and hosting exclusions: Missing named attestations, residency lock, private cloud and on-premises options make it unsuitable for some regulated or sovereignty-sensitive buyers.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison of board-focused products, start with Board Management Software; teams focused on capturing meeting records can compare Meeting Notes Software.

Choose Diligent Audit if its Android, iOS, web and API platform mix is a better fit; it is paid and requires a pricing request. GlobalBoards is another paid option for iOS and web.

My Board View is worth considering when a free web plan for scheduling, invitations, attendance responses, minutes and board-document storage is the priority. If self-hosting matters, compare Almajles, a freemium web option with self-hosted availability.

Computershare BoardWorks may suit organisations seeking a paid service with Android, iOS, web and Windows access, all modules included and unlimited committees; additional users are charged. For a paid iOS and web alternative with personalized pricing after consultation, consider Simbli.

BoardSpace has paid web plans with published starting prices for condos and HOAs and for nonprofits and charities, so it may fit those specific organisation types better. Bordinal is a paid web option with an annual Starter plan for up to 100 members, 50 GB storage, a core governance suite and native iMIS SSO and AMS sync; it may suit teams that need those member and system provisions.

Verdict

BoardiGO is a strong choice for secretaries and growing organisations that want board-pack preparation, governed decisions, signatures and action follow-up connected in one record. Its Pro plan supplies a substantial workflow for teams ready for annual billing, while Free provides a capped entry point. Look elsewhere if your organisation requires a named regulatory attestation, locked country residency, private cloud or on-premises deployment.
