Overview

Brandy organizes items such as logos, colors and fonts into collections and lets users share them through a brand link with colleagues, agencies, contractors or clients. Tags, metadata and brand search help keep a library navigable; approval workflows and version history add oversight beyond basic file sharing. Supported asset types include photos, illustrations, fonts, text and spreadsheets. The trade-off is that plans limit brand spaces, assets and storage, and reaching a limit requires an upgrade.

Key features

Organization and discovery: Collections suit teams bringing varied brand materials together, while metadata and tags help people find assets without relying on folder names alone.
Sharing and governance: Shareable links support distribution to external collaborators. Approval workflows and version history are useful where assets need review and controlled updates.
Brand Architect: Brandy says it can detect and import logos, colors and fonts from a brand's online presence, which may reduce the work of populating a library.
Integrations: The pricing page lists Adobe Express and WordPress integration, with WordPress in beta. It lists Figma Native Embed; broader Figma integration is under development, while embed functionality can display design files.
Collaboration and white labeling: Unlimited adds task mode, asset statuses, assignees and advanced collaboration. Paid plans include white-label features, with Unlimited aimed at agencies reselling Brandy as their own SaaS.
Security and compliance: Brandy says its infrastructure is hosted in the United States and data in transit uses TLS encryption. Payment card data is handled by a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider rather than stored by Brandy. Enterprise lists SOC type 2 and ISO 27001; Brandy says it is working toward SOC 2 Type II compliance.

Pricing

Brandy has a free plan and paid plans from $5/mo. The published monthly prices and limits make the main choice one of how many brand spaces and how much storage a team needs:

Plan	Price	What it includes	Best fit
Free Forever	0.00 USD per free	100MB storage, 20 assets, unlimited editors, 1 brand space	A small library shared by many editors; the asset and storage ceilings constrain growth.
Pro	5.00 USD per month	1 brand space, 50GB storage, unlimited assets	A single-brand team that has outgrown the free asset cap.
Business	35.00 USD per month	10 brand spaces, 100GB storage	Teams managing several brands within a moderate storage allowance.
Agency	50.00 USD per month	25 brand spaces, 200GB storage; dedicated support	Agencies juggling client brands and wanting dedicated support.
Premium	100.00 USD per month	50 brand spaces, 300GB storage	Organizations needing more spaces and storage than Agency provides.
Unlimited	500.00 USD per month	Unlimited brand spaces, 500GB storage; advanced collaboration, task mode, asset statuses and assignees	Agencies reselling Brandy under their own brand or managing many brand spaces.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	Custom brand spaces, advanced analytics, download request and approval workflow, Brandy SDK / OAuth, SSO for editors, dedicated support manager	Organizations needing custom space arrangements, access controls or a support manager.

Free Forever is unusually open on editor count, but its 20-asset and 100MB limits make it a trial-sized home for a genuinely small library rather than a roomy shared repository. Pro removes the asset cap and raises storage substantially, but still covers only one brand space. Higher tiers expand spaces and storage; Unlimited raises the space ceiling while still setting storage at 500GB. Enterprise is the fit for custom spaces and listed access features, but has custom pricing. The Agency plan is the first tier with dedicated support.

Platforms

Brandy is available on web and through an API, giving teams both a browser-based workspace and programmatic access. That combination is relevant to teams fitting brand assets into an existing stack, though no specific API capabilities are described.

Who it's for

Brandy suits teams that need a managed library of brand assets, a shareable destination for collaborators and basic governance through approvals and version history. Agencies and enterprises are identified as the users that get the most out of it; multiple-space tiers and white labeling support that positioning. It is a weaker fit for teams that need generous free capacity, since the free plan stops at 20 assets and 100MB, or for organizations that require fully developed Figma integration now.

Pros and cons

Pro: Unlimited editors on Free Forever let a small team share one space without an editor-count ceiling.
Pro: Collections, search, metadata, approvals and version history combine organization with review controls.
Pro: Agency and Unlimited offer increasingly broad multi-brand capacity, with dedicated support on Agency and white-label positioning on Unlimited.
Con: The free tier's 20 assets and 100MB storage are tight limits for a library expected to grow.
Con: Reaching plan limits requires an upgrade, so teams should size storage and brand-space needs before committing.
Con: WordPress is beta and broader Figma integration is still under development; teams depending on mature connections to those products may need another option.

Alternatives

For a different balance of brand management and capacity, compare the Brand Management Software category. If the primary need is managing a broader digital asset library, see Digital Asset Management Software.

BrandHalo is another freemium web and API option, with a free tier that includes one Brand Profile, one persona and one team member, plus Brand Agent and Connectors.
BrandKity may suit a single-user library where its free plan's 500 MB storage matters more than Brandy's unlimited editors; its free tier includes 1 user and 7 days of analytics retention.
Lingo is an API option with a 30-day free trial and a paid Starter plan at 80.00 USD per month billed annually, plus $16/editor/mo billed annually; consider it if that trial and pricing structure fit better.
Brand24 is a paid alternative with a free trial and broad listed platform support including Android, iOS, macOS, web and Windows.
Brandworkz is another freemium API option with Essentials and Core plans.
Brandkit is a paid API option; its Team Small plan costs 99.00 USD per month and includes 100GB usage per month with unlimited users.
Lytho is a paid option across API, extension and web, with custom-quote pricing.
MarcomCentral is a paid API option with Core, Commerce and Flagship plans at custom pricing.

Verdict

Choose Brandy if your team needs shared, searchable brand libraries, approval controls and room to manage multiple spaces, especially if an agency can use its white-label direction. The unlimited-editor free tier is a useful starting point, but its capacity caps are restrictive; look elsewhere if your library needs more free storage or if a mature Figma integration is essential today.
